U gotta go to a picture hosting site like imgur.com or tumblr. Then usually those sites provide u with the diff links depending on what u wanna do.  

Finally when u come to TER and decide to post a thread with a link. Copy/paste the picture link from the site you uploaded the pic. And voila. Make sure u paste it into the picture URL space.

Interesting I use a tumblr site instead of a personal website and I haven't been able to post pictures . Guess I'll try again.

But I have never tried myself. I personally use imgur.com for image hosting. It's great

Use the "direct link" option once it's uploaded and paste that link into the picture URL space at the bottom of your reply.

Basically, TER will not host or post a picture directly.  Think of TER as all text and only text (for the most part).

When you insert a valid link (http://imagesite/youraccount/picture.jpg) to a valid image file (.jpg, .png, .gif ...), TER asks that host to transfer that image to the reader.  TER is just a middle man.  

But here's my question.  I'm Android, not Apple and I would never link a personal account anyway, but, in principle:  

Take a picture with your iPhone.

Save / synch it with your Apple account (basically, to the Apple servers in the cloud, not JUST on your phone).

Then enter the link to that pic in your TER post.  A lot of personal info, TOO much info, I think, 'cause the link would be something like http://www.apple.com/useraccounts/vernjonesaccount/pictures/picture.png  or where ever Apple hosts / synchs your personal data.  

Ahhh ... just stick to imagecoast, imgur or similar

It's free, and you can use your hobby name or a fake email. Then copy and paste the URL into the "picture URL" slot below.
