Hi!

I am a new provider in the Door County Area. Door County is a small town and I was wondering how I should go about marketing myself. I know Green Bay is the biggest city near by - Should I post ad's there?

Is it safe to market in a small town?

Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!

Would you consider traveling? I mean, book a room in the closest major city and take calls from there? Make sure to let them know to book in advance? Gives you travel time and etc.... And Green Bay...honestly I have no clue where that is...I don't think it is a good idea to market within a small town if you want to keep this a secret. Word goes FAST!

If you value your privacy then I would suggest booking in the nearest big city.  Not knowing if you grew up in that area or not or perhaps just moved there.  Small towns to me hint at small circles of people who know each other and that leads to drama.  I'd say depending on your need for funds, just post/travel to the nearest city, get a room for the weekend and make your money (depending on supply and demand).  So I say yes, post in GB and see what the interest level is and go from there.

I will pm you some tips etc. I am not 100% familiar with the area, as far as the Hobby, but I can help somewhat.

Not a good idea to advertise your city in ads. Too small of a Market. Plus not good to "shit where you sleep" so to speak.

Find your reviews and link them to your handle. Advertise on WI ad board with links to your website and list the cities I am mentioning in my pm. Go back and answer the past few pages of the ISO on the regular WI or pm those guys. The reason I say to answer some of the board posts for the ISO for cities near you is because others will read it and contact you. There isn't too many gals that go into that area. So why not take advantage of it?

Ps, make sure the reviewers know you are "Alexa" and not me. I am only "Alexandra"on my profile. I think it was likely you who was suppose to be reviewed in Madison and I got the review. I had to contact TER about it and have it removed. You would think guys would double check a profile before submitting a review to make sure it is the same girl lol.

I vacation there for a few days every summer...it's beautiful!  You might consider marketing yourself out of Sturgeon Bay, the largest city at the south end of the peninsula.  Having said this, I'd definitely recommend offering an incall location in Sister Bay...it's more centrally located than Sturgeon Bay and a quick drive for clients traveling from any direction.  I love it there...and wish you the very best.  Hope this helps!
