Hey there, I'm new and have really enjoyed this site for the past few days. I've never used a service but after reading the reviews have a few favorites. My question(s)are How do you go about knowing whether the girl you are meeting isn't a cop? What can I say and not say? Thanks for the help ....

That is always your best bet.
Do you have VIP status yet so that you can read the reviews? If not, you should do so first. This way you will get lots more out of this.
As for what you can and can not say, I advise you to read the Newbie Manual at the top of this board from cover to cover as it will cover that and many more subjects that are crucial to your safety and enjoyment.
Short answer: Don't ever bring up any discussion of money or specific sexual activiites. The information on the gal's site should cover the $ questions (If not, then move on.), and the reviews will tell you what you can expect once you're in the room.
As Mr. F. said, a provider reviewed multiple times on TER pratically assures you that running into LE will not be an issue.
A couple of things to make known -asking a provider if she is a LE is not a good idea. It is NOT true that LE has to tell you that they are LE. Many think that they can't lie and that simply isn't true. Also you might provoke a provider to be leery of seeing you by bringing up LE, they are just as concerned as you are.
-Don't look on craigs list for a provider. On top of ROBS and scams, LE is also a negative of using that site.
-Never talk about anything explicit over the phone. Never discuss $$ at all unless the donation is not advertised in the ad, which it usually is. Asking a girl if she is GFE, if it is not in her ad, is about as far as you can go with intimate specifics without making the provider think that you may be LE.
Seeing any girl advertised on eros or another escort site without reviews carries a measure of risk. The ad may be bait and switch. The ad may be decieving on what services are provided or what you are led to expect. And LE I am sure is capable of using those sites as well.
The only time I would ever see an unreviewed girl was if she was with a well reviewed agency. You still are not assured of how things will go as girls new to the hobby can go one way or another but you are safe as far as avoiding LE. I would never see an independent girl without reviews, just too uncertain.
Your best bet is to stick with well reviewed ladies on this site as they are not in short supply. Good luck and have fun.
The advice given here usually focuses on safety (from LE, from Rip-Offs, etc.). While I've never had a brush with the law (knock wood), I was ripped off a couple of times in my early days in the hobby. The best policy for newbies is to stay known providers.
Don't worry, there are more experienced hobbyist willing to test out new talent and TOFTT (take one for the team). Just be careful with these "talent scouts", they sometimes ask for a discount, or even a freebie, in exchange for a positive review, and contact with his friends. In most cases, it is not worth it.
BTW - you are not alone, there is also the new hobbyist Catch 22 - many, if not most known gals require a provider reference!!! So how is a new guy supposed to arrange a meeting with a popular provider when he has never any provider before?
Isn't that a thing TER prohibits, providers giving freebies for a good review?? Never heard of freebies in this hobby, guess its a good gig for guys who can get it...lol
Sometimes other providers will introduce new providers. That is usually a good way for them to get to know the community. Sometimes as a doubles partner. But you will have the same problem seeing an Indie without any references.
Let's say a guy with many reviews gets so full of himself that he actually believes that a review by him can make-or-break a new gal. Unfortunately, more than a few gals have believed this.
We get the same treatment from independent providers. Many independents won't see guys who are new to the hobby without refernces and some won't even take references from agencies. What's good for the goose is good for the gander I guess.
