I'm having trouble getting my ads posted

I advertise without a problem on my local board, New England but keep hitting some resistance when I post to Boston. The claimed issue is that the TER logo isn't easily found on my site. Obviously, it is since I'm being allowed to post elsewhere. What the heck? It's on the second page past the splash page of my site. (It would completely destroy the design of my site to have it on the welcome screen.)

Link to your profile instead of your website. Then from the profile people can find your website. You don't have to link to your website on an ad. You can link to your TER profile, or another internet ad on an ad mall, or a profile on p411, DC etc.

I do agree that it is odd that they allow your website link on one board and not another, but nothing much we can do about it here on the newbie board. All you can do is argue with admin or come up with another creative solution (as mentioned above).
Good Luck. :)

whoever is responsible for policing the Boston Ad Board.

Your site is right up to snuff with the TER logo appearing on the second page.

and the link is on the second page of it, which I thought was acceptable.  Apparently the staffer who reviews Boston ads is little bit of a stickler on ad protocol.

Would definitely write to TER Admin, but I doubt that "complaining" will get you much.  Try instead, asking for clarification on the ruling.  Remember, that you are not having a problem on your home board, so opening a can of worms may end up causing you trouble there too.  Still, it clearly states in the Ad posting guidelines, as relates to personal sites, that "The emblem or banner should be located on either the first page of your site or the "main" page of your site."  Explain that the "first" page of your site is a splash page and that the second page is the "main" page!

The alternative, of linking to you profile, as PS stated is an easy way around the issue though.
