But ignore button ignores the user. So lets say you have me on ignore, anytime I post something it will say "This user is ignored" and you wouldn't see the text of my post.  Also, you wouldn't be able to communicate with me and vice-versa. through the PM feature.

If you click that button, all the words disappear and in place you see "user's post is ignored" or something like that. You have to be logged in for it to work, but it helps you avoid those posters that may annoy you and they can't contac you via pm.

You can manage your ignored user list on the tab "My TER"

I ignore myself all the time lol.

You see a post and that someone that is on your Ignore list is posting, but you don't know what they posted.

The only way to get the contents of that (besides removing them from said list) is if a response below them quotes their response.  Then you will see it.
