I'm about ready to take the plunge for the first time (got P411) and am EXTREMELY nervous about LE....maybe a sign I'm not ready? Anyway, wondering if it's (a) safer or (b) better for a newbie to go the independent route or agency. Of course either way, I'll do my research on the girl, check reviews etc. I've been checking the boards both where I live and the newbie board....what else am I missing?
As a provider who has worked both with an agency and as an independent I can say the quality of my sessions are way higher when working independently. Agency girls cannot name their prices and make less than half of the money you pay so they are not feeling generous. Add the fact that they are bound by the clock (they are charged for another session if they are one second late) and there's a rushed, "let's get this over with so I can leave" vibe. Yes, the fact that she works for an agency is almost a guarantee that she is not LE but if you learn how to tell when you're dealing with LE you'll be happier with an independent. That's why we have reviews. To ease this fear. PM me if you have any questions about researching a provider or how to tell if the one at your door is legit.
I think the girl should get all my money, and as previous poster, a provider, said, the agency girls are usually on the clock. They are also probably doing much more volume per day than an indy would do.
Safer? Who knows? There are risks with either one. If you do your research properly, you should be ok regardless which one you choose. Whether she is indy or agency, make sure she has a good amount of reviews by established reviewers.
hopefully, the agency has checked her out and she is ok. Obviously, a more established agency girl who probably will have some reviews is a better bet, but you never know. Just remember, nothing is guaranteed in this hobby of ours. Research is the key!!!
One more question if you don't mind. It looks like the Agency wants some personal info such as first name, last name, and possibly more. They say on their site they will discard your information after you have been verified, but who knows if they really do that. Also, if they do that, how do they confirm that you are a repeat customer? Just a little cautious right now because if things go south with the Agency, having my name in their system would make me very nervous...
How do they know if you're a repeat customer? They give you a spiffy code name, like Client 9. Ha ha ha.
