Occasionally I notice 2 or 3 new reviews come up at the same time from someone who has not done any other reviews. Generally the reviews are higher than previous ones with different experiences than previous ones. Maybe someone just becoming a new member?
until they are satisfied that said member is legit.
At that point, they release them en masse.
Another possibility is that when a hobbyist does decide to join and write reviews, he goes back to several gals he's seen in the proceeding 3 months and reviews them all.
