yep u guessed it i'm a newbie. o.k. i have a provider in mind, have been e-mailing back and forth and they said that we would have to meet in a hotel/motel chain. so what do i do book a room at said chain and set up appointment with escort? is cash in an envelope the way to go?(credit cards are traceable and whose to say they will show up i.e. take the money and run) also being a newbie i feel pretty embrassed to call to talk in person about setting the meeting coupled with the fact of being in a hotel for the sole purpose of enjoying a little r and r. how can i best feel comfortable in this situation? should i dress nice arriving to hotel/motel something like business caual?(actually wear a tie sort of thing) i'm in dire straits!(sultan of swing is a great song isn't it)

It sounds like something rotten here... normally, the provider and/or agency if you are not going to see an independent, takes care of the hotel room.  You are on thin ice if your book the room and she is a no show... it is bad enough to go to incall and have a no show.

Your comfort is personal to you... you will just have to deal with it as best you can - from what you have already said, I doubt your pick for a newbie is good... if you are dealing with an agency stay away until you have some mileage on your side - I suggest you go with an Indy... read your local boards, see how the ladies in your area
post... check their profiles and then choose... don't rush into this without thinking things through.
Dress is up to you... I usually dress casual or depending on climate you are in... appropriate dress for that... no need to get all primped up as the damned clothes are coming off anyway.

then yes, it is up to you to get a room at a half decent hotel/motel.  Most insist on at least three or four stars.

It is a pain, I admit, but I have met some real lovelies that way, just another expense to take into account.

Cash is king, leave it in an unsealed envelope marked "gift" in plain sight.

You do stand the risk of losing the rent for the hotel if she no-shows, so only go with a very well reviewed provider.

No need for tie and jacket, but dress respectfully.  Remember to bring an overnight bag with you.  Nothing screams "hot date" louder to a clerk than seeing you show up with no luggage.

Set up a date / time with the provider, making sure the hotel you have in mind is appropriate.  Have two or three options in case she prefers one over the other or your first choice is booked.

Set up the reservation.

Deal with the cash however she instructs in her website (likely, in an evelope, unsealed, in a an obvious place).  

If you have done your research you shouldn't have to worry about anyone taking the cash and running.  

Dress appropriately for the location, the time of day and your area.  It also doesn't hurt to dress nice for a provider.  I know these guys will tell you it doesn't matter as long as you have the dough, but believe me, it does matter.  The more she is into you for being clean, neat and caring about her comfort and how she feels, the better your session will be.

While some providers do leave the business of getting a hotel room to you, many do not. When I am seeing someone and their preference is to meet at a hotel (I prefer incall), I generally book the room myself and add the cost of the room to the donation.

I strongly recommend NOT using a credit card, even though I do know that some ladies do accept credit cards. Using a CC though opens up an whole new can of worms that are best left alone. Enough said on that.

A plain white envelope is usually best, or if you want to go for a touch of class, you can always select a nice greeting card instead. Some ladies do include specific instructions on their website and if this is the case, simply follow whatever preferences she has indicated.

Finally, dress appropriately for whereever you are meeting her. If its a 4-5 star place, don't show up in ragged jeans and a t-shirt, but don't dress up for a corporate meeting if you are meeting at the local Dew Drop Inn either. Slacks and a nice shirt are your best bet. Appearance does matter, but what matters more is hygiene. If at all possible, try to show up a few minutes before the lady so you'll have time for a quick shower before the fireworks. If you can't get there in advance, take the first ten minutes of your session to run through a shower. If you really want to make the most of your time, invite the lady to join you. A steamy shower together can make a nice ice breaker as well to help you get comfortable

so that you have a fresh change of clothes for after your shower and your bath kit to take a shower, shave, etc.  As stated above, cleanliness is a top priority.

I am setting up an appointment with a part time independent provider who is really well reviewed and been advertising on a particular website for about a year. She doesn't seem to do a high enough volume to book a room like some providers.

She does incalls at her home for those who she meets with once, only if all goes well, but not on the first date.  I am willing to do the legwork, cost and risk of booking the room for my own reasons.  She is that well reviewed.  So the setup depends on the situation and the provider.
