I won't go to a private residence for in calls. Hotels are anonymous where as residential locations are filled with curious neighbors and even the possibility of a psycho former client dropping by unannounced. No Thank you.
I do have a preference for those very large apartment complexes where no one knows their neighbors and tenants are literally moving in and out everyday. Private homes are not my favorite, nonetheless been to number of them.
As far as hotel rates, with websites like priceline, hotels.com etc I have been to a number of 4star hotels where the ladies have told me the rooms were very inexpensive. Just was in Vegas, met a provider who was doing incall at a top strip property, she told me the room was $39.00 for the night. Her rate was $350, so do the math, still not a bad nights work.
Bottom line, it's about security and safety for both the provider and the hobbyist, if you don't like going to private incalls then don't go.
I only hold incall at my residence two days a week and on those two days, I do not see more than two gentlemen. I am in a quiet neighborhood in a pretty decent part of town. Most of my neighbors are working during the day, not sitting around watching who is coming and going from my place - besides as little business as I do here, they would get pretty bored.
I offer outcall in the evenings and one day a week hold an incall at a hotel in another city if there's enough interest.
