I have made three requests of a provider and I have not had any response.  I have been screened and I have references.  Is there a limit to the number of times I make a request?  I don't want to be a pest, but I would like to know if she has received my requests and, if so, why she doesn't want to get together.

She could be on vacation or otherwise indiposed.

What you describe is not that unusual.

Some possibilities:

-You aren't sending to the right e-mail address.
-She is (as Mr. Fischer points out) on vacation.
-You've offended her in some way with language or content.
-She is irresponsible.
-She's left the business
-She is just too busy and doesn't need the business right now

If any of the above is true you will not hear back from her, nor in some cases do you necessarily want to.  I'd move on now; but I wouldn't be surprised if you heard from her in a few weeks with an explanation.

Maybe she thinks you're too old.

In all seriousness, time to move on to another girl.  Three contact attempts are more than enough.  I stop at two.  Good luck with the next girl.

I had this same problem with one provider that I wanted to see. It was early on and I only had a couple of references but I got no response after 3 requests.

I almost didn't send her anymore requests but I'm glad I didn't give up. She responded and I have been seeing her ever since. After 40 appointments she is still my aft.

With that said, I don't think I'd send more than one or two requests now. Thats only because I have to many regulars.

Thanks for the feedback.  I just want to let you know that patience has it's virtue.  I just got an e-mail from the provider and I'm working out the details.
