I spent time w/ a provider who has non-communicable rash. While she's a very sweet lady, there was no mention of this in our advance communication and I have to admit, it through me off when we first met. She explained in detail what was going on w/ her and ultimately I went through with the session. She asked that I don't mention this in a review but I also think that other hobbyists should be aware. I'd like to handle this as fairly as possible (knowing some of you will slam me - either way).  
 
Your suggestions, particularly providers, would be appreciated

If there' something that affects a provider's looks, I think it's only fair to the potential customer that it be mentioned. Most guys start their "shopping" by judging appearance. If the appearance isn't as advertised, then it's false advertising.

Is if the rash isn't contagious then why should anyone care??? Then I had more questions... What if it was a birthmark? Did it really effect how the session went? Did the thought of it ruminate in your head? Do you think it really was contagious? Could she have covered it up somehow with lingerie?  

So many questions and things to consider but in the end you are the one who needs to decide ... My easy answer is this:

If the rash is truly noncommunicable AND it will eventually go away, LEAVE IT OUT of the review ... Reviews last ... The rash may not.

What if its just dry skin (xerosis) on one of her hands? That can go away in a few days.  Could be something more ... All depends on where its located and how long it will last. Maybe she should have said something to him ahead of time but to put it in a review needs further thinking.  

There was a discussion I saw here once about noticeable bruises from a "car accident" (I think that's what it was) ... Should the provider tell in advance, explain in person, try and hide it, say nothing at all??? So many things to consider ... Imo there is no cut and dry answer.

Rash was on her upper back, shoulders and scalp. Based on what she told me, she is working w/ her doctor on treatment as it is a symptom.

Leave it out.

This is just a suggestion, but before you write the review maybe talk to her about disclosing the information to her potential clients on her own?  

There are several ways she can do this without hurting her business.  I understand her hesitance for you to post it in the review, but if she really wants to be successful she should put her clients mind at ease before they arrive and are shocked and concerned.  This tactic will not work, as you may leave it out of this review, but someone will write about it soon enough.  

I think there are a couple other ways she can handle this that will benefit her in the long run.  For example, she can have a legal letter from her doctor stating the diagnosis, and stating that the condition in non-communicable without divulging her real identity in the least way (I was a RN for sometime).  And, to prove this is a legit document for clients who are not that savvy about the health industry and may think it's fraudulent, she could have a few good gents such as yourself provide a reference here through PM that you saw her and did not contract the rash.  It won't take long for it to be known that she is honest, the rash is not contagious, and it will become a non-issue, because people will read about it in her vast sea of wonderful reviews

I have other suggestions on solutions to her challenge, and please feel free to email me or have her email to discuss them.  She is scared that this is a weakness that will prevent her from being successful, but she can turn it into a strength if she makes some good choices.  Truly honest providers is something all clients are looking for, so that would be a great reputation for her to stronghold in her reviews.

She's a very nice lady and I don't want to negatively impact her business.  
On the other hand had I known, it would have been much less of a surprise and far less awkward

So it could be gone before she even sees someone else. If it just a rash I'd leave it out. If it's a birthmark or something then you can mention it without being unflattering or mean.

Sadly it looks like things were more serious than originally understood and the provider in question is no longer in the business.  
Thankfully I did not post a review.
