Just a questions about cancellation etiquette.  A cancellation with sufficient notice (24 hrs. or more) is good hobbying, not unexpected, well within the boundaries, etc., isn't it?

Is it someone local or traveling?

Did she travel to your city based upon your request to see her?

What's your history if any with her?  Seen her 10 times, this is the first CX, or you've yet to see her but CX'd 5 previous tries.

Was it a "normal" session or had the two of you agreed to something that cost her to put out $$ already?

Did she have a stated CX policy that stipulated more than 24 hrs?

Just like anything else.  I can CX my Holliday Inn res 24 hrs with no problem.  I have a resort booked in Tahiti and I CX 24 hrs in advance I'm going to eat a bill.  Same with airlines.  Same here, it depends.

For routine sessions 24 hrs is usually reasonable in my experience.

Sometimes stuff happens and you will have to cancel. 24 hrs should be good enough but each provider has her own ideas about that. I don't mind a cancelation as lomg as the client lets me know and doesn't pull a NC/NS. For those who book and cancel often, that's another issue and you will end up on a DNS list pretoon.ty s

Agree with this. Giving as much notice as you can will allow the lady to adjust her schedule and either schedule another appointment or work in something else.

I think so and to an extent why but really maybe i'm just light on this but bare minimum 30 mins notice though cutting it close is alright with me.
