One verification site...  I believe it is Date Check...  accepts feed back from providers.  If you have had satisfactory meetings they might have given an ok to your hobby phone number.  

I would generally look for more reviews...  4 is about my lower limit...  BUT If everything else is ok, I'd probably go through with it.

I'm still a newbie, and this situation kind of confused me.  Still thinking about what to do, and I'd welcome input from everyone on this board.

I noticed a provider through a post on one of the regional boards.  Took a look at her reviews (around four, but from reviewers with good histories) and was interested.  I contacted her via email, and she confirmed me for an appt.  Fine right?  Except she didn't screen me at all (ok, I guess she has my first name and email).  This definitely raised a red flag for me.

A couple of considerations.  It seems like she's new to town.  She's not part of one of those random Asian incalls that doesn't screen (she's white).  It also seems that she may have recently went from being an agency girl to indy.

Should I stay or should I go?

Nope, didn't give her my handle or cell#.  That's what makes it so strange, I emailed her so she knows my email address (and I haven't used my email address with the other providers I've seen, so I don't think she would have verified me that way).  That's it - no other info provided to her.

You may have been screened without realizing it.  Especially if the lady is tech savvy.

I would be very leary of the lack of screening. Could be she is new, but still should have screened. You can't get much from an email, especially if it's one of the free ones (yahoo-gmail). Just this past weekend in the Chicago area the busted 48 with a multi area sting. Safe to say there was little to no screening done by those involved. Just my opinion..

But that's me. 3 or 4 good reviews by veteran reviewers and I'd see her.  On occasion when the screening seems lacking, I've asked a lady if she screened me.  The answers are very interesting, but that's another post.
