That is why I use my residence as my incall. Yes it's risky but less risky in the LE department. I mean cops will LOOK for prostitutes in a cheap motel. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that men walk in...come out 1hr later.and then the circle is repeated.... They will not look to the nice apartment buildings in the good part of town.
When I do outcall I only do it to nicer hotels. (no motel 8) I also dress nicely and smile and act just like normal. "I'm visiting a friend before he leaves town" is my story.(used mostly when I can't find the room when they set up the numbers weird...)
I think you did the right thing. I also think you need to shell out some more money and find a "nicer" lady. As said nicer escorts will not meet you in a motel 8. Nicer escorts care about their safety and will screen clients so they are 98% less likely to meet LE. This is good for her, and you! Go find a nicely reviewed lady and spend a little more cash than this LE sting girl and you'll be much happier!
I scheduled to meet a provider ealier today. When I got ot the motel, I saw that there was a police car parked outside the lobby.
I decided to stay in my car and wait for a few minutes. The policeman came out with a sheet of paper in his hand. He then drove around the building and parked outside the room where I was supposed to meet the provider. I decided to leave.
I'm guessing guys were going in and out of the room all morning and some self-righteous guest decided to call the authorities.
I doubt that the police can really charge you with anything simply for going into a room; but I also know they can make trouble for you if they really want to, no matter the circimstances.
I would appreciate any opinions from more experienced members. Did I do the right thing or was I just being dumb?
Of course you did the right thing. Maybe you could have made a call to the provider explaining that LE was on the way to her door, but why on Earth would you think you didn't do the right thing?

Thank your lucky stars that these LE were too stupid to avoid advertising their presence.
Calling the gal is not an option. You'd only be giving LE your phone number. No good would come of that.
Unfortuately, most clients don't know enough to STFU, or even know that they have the right to remain silent.
LE comes up to them and asks them what they were doing in there, and also tells them, if they have to, that if they cooperate they'll be "OK".
Of course, LE's view of OK is not quite the same as our view of OK, and they go and spill the beans, implicate the gal, and both get thrown in the slammer.
It's a lesson to gals also: Don't be obtusive, or make noise or have a parade of guys coming and going, especially not at that kind of motel either.
Using a motel with external doors that can be viewed from the parking lot.
Of course, in some ways, I like that as it makes casing for LE presence easier, but overall, I think the no-tell-motel is a bad idea. Especially as it is usually the same ones used by the street walkers who get the most LE attention.

If you had a real appointment, not a "first guy to show up, gets the girl" & she shuts off her phone or worse, answers it during your time as a business plan... then she already has your number in her cell phone, if she's busted. One reason for a hobby phone... It's easy for me to say, here from this safe distance, but LE was just arriving. LE was possibly intent on driving her away. A bust would have had more of a LE presence... I like to think I'd phone a warning from a safe distance... skb
Yeah, calling her on your cell phone while sitting in your car in the parking lot would/could be a dead giveaway. Don't even bother, just get out of dodge as fast as legally possible.
