This little "hobby" of ours is not for everyone.  If you are feeling guilty now, and afraid that after your session that guilt will consume you...you may not want to take this plunge.

Should you decide to tell your wife (ask for permission) you have now created a distrust from her perspective...and even if she would say OK...the likelihood of your relationship being as it was is not a high probability.  And you may want that divorce attorney on "speed dial".

If you can go through with your appointment, and keep your mouth shut (forever...don't tell anyone..period), you will find that your fantasies can and will be fulfilled.

I am thinking of going to a provider for my foot fetish, My wife isn't really into it. I have contacted the provider and am trying yo set things up, I am starting to feel a bit guilty. Was almost thinking of asking the wife for permission to go for fetish? Would that be a bad idea? Or Should I just go ahead and do it and not tell her? I don't know how she would take that request?

Wise advice... If your wife isn't open to exploring your fetish with you, I can almost certainly guarantee that she will not ok you to go explore with others.  And as noted, if you do ask...be prepared for negative consequences.

Second, ot you do see a provider it is an act that you will take to the grave with you.  And if you are a guilt type of person, this likely isn't for you.
