This is not one of those "how long do I wait til I contact someone else" questions.
So i emailed 2 nop notch providers in Vegas, both responded very quickly and we got the screening all done with my references. When they emailed me back to tell me we were good to go, they asked when I would like to meet. I plan on seeing them both on seperate days. So I responded to both of them the day and time I would like to meet.
I never heard anything back. One has been almost a week and the other 3 days and no response.
I plan on seeing these 2 providers in 2 weeks.
Maybe they never got my email about the date and time I would like to meet?
Should I send a follow-up email, I mean they obviously got my other ones. Or should I wait it out? I know they are probably busy but I would like to get this planned because my trip is coming up soon. And I know one of them is around because she posted an ad on the local board.
If they replied to your first email with positive answers but have not responded to your second, I would try again. However, if this still does not bring a response, I'd move on. You are running out of time.
Two weeks away seems too far in advance to book. Probably they are waiting closer to the date to get back to you. Or they are expecting you to reconfirm then since they assume you are a newbie booking so far ahead. Or maybe two weeks corresponds to "that time of the month" for them ?!
I would say that you are a little anxious to get things confirmed and would like to hear back by (insert date in a couple of days). Not a big deal, but if you do plan to look elsewhere, you have told them without being whiny or too demanding. Once you get to that date, you can go ahead and schedule something different with no worries since you told them.
I know the idea is to get it booked, and that probably is how it will work out.
