Erica, check out the link below - you should find the information on posting provider ads and the TER review process to be quite helpful. It also supplies guidelines on what is necessary to include a link in your posts to your web site.
The TER forums are discussion boards, and not an advertising medium. However, providers are allowed to post one ad message per week on specific forums, provided it meets certain criteria (for example, ad posts are not allowed on the FAQ for Newbies board).
There are requirements for ladies being allowed on the Provider's Board, if I am not mistaken...something like 3 reviews, and perhaps other requirements, like having her profile linked to her reviews etc...which works less well for a lady that actually is a newbie.
Since the original poster used an alias to post, there is no way of knowing if she would meet the criteria to join the Lady's Board or not...so whereas that might be the best place for gaining information it is slightly less helpful if the lady posting can't get to that board to ask her questions there.
