and... here I am doing it. What a maroon :-)

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie to the community and haven't even actually entered it yet technically. How does one get started anyways? I notice for a lot of providers, they require 1 or 2 references from other providers as part of a screening process. So how does someone completely new even get started when there's a requirement like that in place? I'd really love to meet some lovely providers, but I don't know how to get started and how to go about the process. Any advice, tips, rules, etc. to get a new guy started? I would appreciate any help!

Best,
Dan

There is a ton of great advice.

Also, since your question is so broad in nature, you can't expect people to retype the myriad advice that has been covered here ad nauseum. You'll do better with specific questions.

With that said here's a 2 cent rundown.

PAY FOR VIP so you can read the reviews.
LOOK FOR ladies that say they are newbie friendly.
STICK WITH well reviewed ladies.
DON'T GO cheap.
BE SUPER CLEAN.
DON'T TALK SEX OR MONEY on the phone.
DON'T make the lady ask for her money, and don't hand it to her.
READ HER WEBSITE and reviews carefully to understand what to expect.
BE ON TIME.
BE SOBER.
TELL HER, at the session this is your first time.
LEAVE at the end of the scheduled time.
DON'T WASTE MONEY with tipping

Maybe I just cut and paste this post once a week as a noob PSA???

Thanks for the nice comment. :)

Thanks for the reply, buddy. And the summary of essential pointers. Guess I've got to do some digging on this site to get what I want.

Anyways,
Cheers!

We have all once been where you are at now so know that you are amongst frineds!

I would also suggest joining one of the verification sites such as perf411. Many of the women that you will be interested in seeing will probably be be listed there and it helps the screening and verification process.

Expect to be nervous as well on your fist date - it"s only natural ! An expereinced provider will know just what to do to put you at ease and ensure that your first time is memorable. (that's why it's ok and advisable to be up front and tell her that this is your first hobby date).

Thanks for the encouraging words!

Yeah, I've checked out P411 since I've been seeing so many people referring to it, and my only concern is the part about how they verify your place of employment. If I read their terms correctly, they apparently contact my employer to verify my employment. The thing is I work for a gigantic organization with tiers and tiers of authority, and I get moved around a lot from place to place and department to department. So how would they go about confirming my employment at such a large and hectic organization? Also, I'm concerned about my privacy and how they would approach asking my superiors about me.

It simply takes the guess work out and makes things much easier. Though many providers will still require more info with a P411, there are many who will see you with only that in place. Good luck!

It has lots of information.  VIP membership is a must for this site, and since you have no references yet, joining a verification site is also a good idea.  Gina at P411 has a pretty good rep for working with guys to get them verified.

Glowerlord's post pretty much summed up what you need to do.
