I vote for reimbursing the lady in cash.

but they do still take cash in most cases.  You have to prepay the full rate and then leave some deposit for any incidentals.

However, the big rub is that you do have to show an ID just about anywhere.  So if you want anonymnity, you will have to convince the gal to get the room and then reimburse her.

Otherwise, stick to the incalls.

Sorry.  I know the credit card question keeps popping up periodically, but this one has a fairly specific twist.  If already asked and answered, please just brow beat me a bit and send me off to the link if you have it.

I've used non-attributable MasterCard (chooseyourowngift.com) with great success for anonymous TER VIP renewal, DATE-CHECK renewal, anonymous email accounts, and other prepaid credit things, but I'm now finding a new twist for the credit card issue.  I've always done incall in the past, either hotel or private, so reserving a room has never been an issue for me.  A lady I've been talking with recently has a keen preference for outcall, so I'm trying to figure that out what that means to me.  I'm a bit OCD about anonymity, and I'd rather not have to defend that; let's just say that my going in requirement is that I be able to reserve a room at a decent hotel using a credit card that doesn't disclose my real identity and doesn't pique the curiosity of the hotel management. I'm so OCD about it that, if it turns out there's no good way around using an attributable credit card, I probably won't do it and will just stick with incall.

In order to book most (all?) hotels, one needs a major credit card, yes?  Must this be a card issued to a real person with a real identity, or are hotels OK with anonymous prepaid cards?  Seems anonymous cards might raise an eyebrow?  Depends on the hotel?

Does anyone have any experience with reserving outcall hotel rooms, online or in person, using a card that assures anonymity?  Also, I can't remember if the last time I checked in whether I was asked for ID or not; that would further complicate things.  I've seen suggestions for cover companies, etc. and company issued cards, but what about mailing address for the statements?  Anyone with experience in the area of anonymous outcall hotel reservations by credit card, please let me know what works for you.  Thanks!

I would love to know how to anonymously do an outcall as well where I pay for the room.

The one time I did an outcall with, I got her to pay for the room and reimbursed her with cash.

That is a really great idea!

Thanks, mrfisher.

I think I'll make that my plan; either reimburse the girl or forget outcall altogether, unless of course I'm already some place for a credible reason and can arrange a date from there.

I'm pretty sure mid-level hotels will take prepaid card as long as there is enough credit on it but another thing you can do when paying cash is use fake ID. Here in L.A. very good ones can be had for $60. Not that I'd know...lol.

which they ten compare to the name on the credit card. If you have a credit card with another name, make sure you have I.D. in the same name and with your picture. Also, keep in mind that in some places, it's illegal to carry a false ID.

I've had it happen that a lady wanted to actually see the whites of my eyes before renting the room.  We met at the coffee shop right next door, I stayed while she secured the space & called me with the room number.   It worked out fine.

The hotel is going to ask you for ID when you check in and the room folio will be prepared with that ID.  If you are trying to remain anonymous ask the lady if she will book the room for you and you can reimburse her.  If she refuses I'm afraid that you are SOL.  No decent hotel is going to rent a room without seeing ID.
