There are very few quality providers who will see you without giving out your name.
The best I can suggest is to write to several high quality providers and telling them your dilemma. One or two might be willing to take a chance on you after talking to you and getting some comfort factor.
Once you have them as references, you can them use them to get you other providers comforable.
The only other thing I can suggest is to vist MPs, but that also has its risks.
Finally going to get serious about adding this hobby, but I still have a few concerns.
I have a ton to lose, just like others, but am concerned about verification - if you google my name, you find out more about me than the average guy. My name can't pop up in some black book or on some spreadsheet from a verification service.
I'll get a disposable phone and keep on only when I expect to communicate, on the road - hidden with a dad battery when not.
Cash is not a problem, just withdraw cash when I deposit, wife will never see any withdrawal amounts online.
Can anyone suggest a way that I can start this hobby without giving my real name? I'd take it waa-aay slow to get the first 2-3 referrals under the belt - meet first in public, pay extra, etc. I just need to do this with a name that isn't mine - otherwise, I'll miss the all you can eat buffet of beautiful women that I've missed to date.
Good move getting VIP. Now put it to work finding well reviewed providers who don't require references. You should be able to get an indication of this from their reviews. Reading this board at times could lead you to think that's not an option, but they are out there, perhaps more in some parts of the country than others. If you research them thoroughly, you can be pretty sure of whether they are an indiscreet risk or not.
you will have to give them your name, but you only do it one time to the verification service, as opposed to giving it to each provider. P411 is based in Canada where escorting is legal. If you visit providers that don't screen, you are increasing your risk. I'm white listed on TER and have multiple references, but I still pay for P411. Providers find it reassuring, and I don't need to give up any more personal information.

As others have said, they'll screen you and as long as you have an account, that will be enough for some ladies (not me, but some other ladies...).
I would strongly, strongly advise you against giving a false name when someone requests your real name, though. If you're found out, you'll be blacklisted until kingdom come and be in an even more difficult place when it comes to meeting quality providers.
Your post indicates that you have a ton to lose. Also, you indicate that you are more well known that the average Joe, b/c your name on google pops a lot of hits. You can take every precaution, but you are still not bullet proof, all those precautions you mention just reduce your risk. As we all know, Murphy's law proposes the idea that if something can go wrong, then it will. Of course, I am not sure if that is peer reviewed high quality statistics or not (LOL). But even if it is just an old saying, when you couple it with the law of averages, if you engage in a lot of hobbying, sooner or later, common sense tells us that the odds of something going wrong are pretty high. At that point, when something has gone wrong, due to bad luck, what do you do ?
I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but most of your post sounded like a guy who is really uncertain about what he is about to do, and he wanted to hear a contrary voice. Please take this only for what it is worth, if anything. Also, if I misunderstood the situation, please forgive me for being a buzzkill.
