Yes it is true that the provider does take some risk and provides the service, however there are other varibles that are worth mentioning. For example I personally know some Indie's to make more by using a service becausing of the marking provided by the agency, and less cost (i.e, incall apartment, phone service) as well as more free time away to schedule her hobby around her social life.
