Yes, we all provide references from memory alone.

Dave from Sheboygan whom I met last April?  Oh of course I remember him and that absolutely is the same email addy he used to contact me too so you know it's the same guy....... .all this is simply stored in my own brain's memory banks.

Yes, I keep info unless the gentleman specifically asks that I delete it.  And a few do, but usually they only ask that I delete everything except first name, phone, and email as the latter two are usually specifically for hobbying.   Because when they want EVERYTHING deleted, I will inform them that this means I WON'T be able to provide a reference.  

I require real names, but if someone tells me in advance that he'll be using an alias with other providers who might request a reference?  
I'm happy to verify him that way, as long as his contact info matches.  

When I contact other ladies for references?  They will tell me right away if the contact info I have matches what they have, so quite a few providers are indeed keeping such details.  ;-
