How can you get your screen name changed? I want to submit reviews but the screen name I chose also is my nickname which is kind of unique.

I'm apprehnsive about posting reviews in my locale, using a name lots of people know me by. I've tried using an alias but the form won't let you do it.

Any suggestions??

Yes, you can request to have your screen name changed.  Click on either the 'Account Manager' or 'Contact Us' buttons at the top of the screen, then select 'Membership Query' on the left.  Fill in the subject line and comments box with your request and  click 'submit'.  TER Support will get back to you.

I have been trying to change my screen name without success from day 1.  I meant to enter something else when I signed up for a VIP account, made a typo, and am now stuck with mpman.....everyone thinks I am a massage parlor guy...not... and I am hesitant to post.....tried multiple times to contact TER as you suggested....never get a response!!!.  I think the only way will be for me to close my account lose my favorites etc. and open a brand new VIP account.  Really disappointed I have been ignored by TER.

You have not been ignored by TER.  Your e-mail is an AOL acount, and AOL does not allow email from TER to reach your inbox. AOL users cannot receive email responses from TER admin or support, because AOL adult content filters block email from this site.

You may want to change the email address associated with your TER account and resubmit your request from a non-AOL email account.  See the link below for a previous board announcement about this issue.

If you like, you may PM me and let me know what new username you'd like to use, and I can get it changed in less than a day.  Here are the current username format requirements (per TER Technical Support):
- maximum 16 characters
- alphanumeric characters only with no spaces

thank you....understand the AOL issue and appreciate your willingness to help....When I contacted TER, it was through the TER mail system.  I do have a TER mail box and occasionally get mail from other VIP members.....just thought TER would reply to my TER inbox.

Depending upon where you sent it, sending issues to TER support via PM is neither expedient or advised.  According to the overseas support team, Feedback Forms and Problem Reports are both better choices (and preferred by them) than either email or PM.
