In this biz, the gal doesnt need to set herself "apart from the crowd" based on whether or not she got her website free. She sets herself apart by her photos, reviews, professionalism, board reputation, email response time, etc.

In other businesses "standing out" is critical and having a "cookie cutter" website would be a disaster. In p4p sex, it just doesnt matter. Guys want hot women with great skills who are trustworthy. Imo, all of that is easily accomplished in a free, professionally looking site.

I know how important it is to have a website as part of being able to market yourself, but does it really matter if you have a free site or a paid site. It's been said," You can't call yourself an 'Elite' or 'High-Class' Companion if you have a FREE website."

Is this true? Thoughts please

It's the contents that matter.  As long as you have information like, where you're located, good pictures, easy to understand donation chart, calendar/schedule,  etc. I don't care if you use a canned site or a high end custom designer.  When you have some history, you can look into using designers like vedadesigns, orchidescortdesigns, highheeldesigns etc

Good morning, gorgeous lady!

"Content is king" is the mantra by which all web content managers live and die and there is a reason for that.

To wit, I rarely even notice how/where the site is being housed, Jordan.  What I do notice is the layout of the site, how the information is presented and the quality of the content.  So, IMH but also professional opinion, I think it is over-hyped.  Put a little work into the site yourself and you will be just fine, we ain't looking for a professional web experience when we look at a provider's site.

Who are you, what type of experience will you provide for me, link to your reviews, some photos that will appeal to the greatest cross section of clients and their fantasies (naked, gym clothes, dress up time going out to dinner, and don't forget 30% of men have a foot fetish, if they are cute show them.  And for God's sake, some with thigh highs on we are almost ALL looking for that fantasy...).  How to contact you and your PREFERRED contact method.  And Dear Lord - where you are located and to where you are willing to travel!

I have seen some provider sites where they are obviously paying a LOT for their sites and they are...pretty bad.  I know others who are on likely free sites and they look great.  You are more than welcome to run it by me, send me a link after it is created and before you promote it to the web.  I have done a lot of design, content management and web analytics works, and I would be happy to give you some feedback.

I don't want to look like or have what everyone else does, so I like to stand apart. That includes my website, my photos, and my board posts lol.

Your packaging has to match your presentation, so if you are going for the super Elite "Courtesan" shit, pro photos, pro site, etc. are necessary. I know gals making a ton of money without it, but many have scoffed at some of the contradictions. It's like a gal saying she has a full time job, and putting "AVAILABLE 24/7" in her hobby ads lol.

You don't have to spend thousands to get a professional site...I spent about 650 on the one I have now and my rates are higher than when I had paid nearly 10k  for my other one.

Saying "no one cares" is not accurate, as many guys DO care. It all depends what you want to attract. Putting up a free site takes zero effort and has no originality, but for a new provider it's better than nothing. I just hate the look of them.

...the site is a free site or a paid for site, custom design or cookie cutter. There are also guys that care a lot. Those that don't care wonder what all the fuss is about and those that do care wonder how in the world some knothead (whether they say it or not that is what they are thinking) could put up a site like that and expect to get business. The fact remains that they do. I'm interested only in whether it has the info I need.   Though some of this can be attributed to how much money the guy has as he will only associate with the "best" but that's not always the case. Sometimes it's the guy with llimited funds that has that attitude. As in all hobby things it's the different strokes for different folks. A blanket statement on this subject is about as useful as it is in any other situation. Which is not much.

London, I'm not bashing your post. I just thought this was the best place to put this as it's on the subject of whether guys care or not which you raised. xyz23

Again, just common sense. In Jordan's case, I do not think she "needs" a professional site right this minute, but if you care about your image, marketing, etc. it will increase your rates over time. Most women have all said the very same thing. It's always the providers who don't have a website, that think "it does not matter." Maybe it does not matter...to them. You're certainly no better for having a website.

Would be my advice. Just make sure it's easy to navigate and you should be good to go.  A paid site is going to do better in search engines, but that's not something to worry about right now. Down the line you could think about your own site. I'm sure others here would also be willing to help you get started with one. You could go the WordPress route and get a site up for under $100 while still having a professional look to it.

On a related note... I've seen many providers using Wix for their free sites. I'm not sure if it's just me or only some of the Wix sites, but they aren't mobile friendly.  Would be annoying for potential clients who use their phone for browsing providers

...along with any other pertinent information you can find and then do what fits for you. You can always upgrade/change as your business grows.

So many great free templates out there now I see no reason to pay If I were you. You need your site to do a few basic things:

1) Have good, clear pics (face covered/blurred is fine) that can be made full screen.

2) Make it easy to find your reviews if you have any and a direct link to them is best.

3) Make it easy for us to contact you. If you want to have a form, fine, but also give us the option of clicking on your hotlinked email addy so we can ask a quick question about availability or something else quick without have to fill out an entire form

4) Tell us something about you. What makes you different? What are your likes/dislikes?

5) Make sure your rates are clear and concise. Dont have a million different rates spewn all over your rates page as that can be confusing as hell.

6) It needs to look professional.

You can do all of the above with a free site. PM me if you have more qusestions. Good luck!

For a Newbie a free site is OK - you can always upgrade later to a more professional site.
More importantly you should buy/register your "Branded Domain Name".

For example:  "www.GE.Com"  "www.Disney.Com" are branded domains.
Best would be something branded to the lady.  For example, if the provider's name is "Pussy Galore" then for her "www.pussygalore.com" would be an example of a domain for her.

I use godaddy.com to register all my business related domains. If you go there you will see the the hot looking Danica Patrick welcome you in. Expect to pay ~$12/year (a little more if you choose private domain registration which will hide your name in registries). This domain belongs to you now as long as you pay the annual renewal. WARNING: Godaddy will try to "upsell" you on other related domains, web design/hosting, all their products.

Pick a "Free" or inexpensive website company (they may also offer to sell you a domain name but if you already bought it through godaddy it may be cheaper). You can then direct Godaddy to point your domain name to the url for your new website.

the content of the website, how easy it is to navigate, etc.  I don't care for music or flying butterflies or anything else other than the information I need to make an informed decission.

Are your pics accurate, varied posses, varied attire, etc.?  If you need to blur your face or use long hair over your eyes, that is fine.  No need to bare all; leave something for the guy to discover when he removes your clothing during the foreplay.

Is it esay to find your contact info, your availability (too many ladies do not use a calendar),  are your rates fair for the market, etc.?

Good luck.
