I was wondering if there was anything about the business no one told you and you wish that someone had?

that so many guys would get emotionally attached to us and fall in love. I think society makes it out to be like females are the ones who fall for guys they have sex with, but since being in this business, I've found out that men do it just as much. I'm 27 now. I started escorting when I was 20. I've had quite a few guys beg me to be their girlfriends, tell me they love me, even had a marriage proposal. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy having a mental/emotional connection with my clients. I do prefer to have that type of connection, rather than just be an in and out quickie. But as a young 20 year old stunner, I didn't expect that an 80 year old john would profess his undying love for me, and that it would be a fairly common occurence.

Mallory is correct, but don't be fooled into giving it away whatever you do.

No one told me about screening and I've had to find out on my own along the way.

No one told me about how I would be gamed as society likes to make us out as the gamers.  And of course, the bad ladies who are rip offs and gamers don't help but I've had all kind of attempted games to be played on me from freebies cause I love you to hey launder some money for me will ya?  Uhhh no to all of that!

I had one lady try to teach me about marketing and presentation and I wish I had listened.  I've done well, but could have done better.

Just be careful, be totally into your job, but stay on your toes all at the same time!

Reading up on stalkers is not a bad idea.  You won't know the warning signs until it's too late unless you educate yourself.  Google is your friend!

And yes I do love what I do also and will find it very hard to step away when the time comes.  This is an addictive lifestyle cause it's so great!

In tennis, of course.

Seriously though, odors are not cool.

LOL

A gamer is anybody who's trying to "work" you for something....could be a hobbyist trying to get a freebie....could be a co-worker who tries to get you to do the work while they take all the credit....could be a pimp who tries to sweet talk you into working for his agency.

I think you get the idea.

My point was, society has this view of the hobby world and they think we escorts are the ones who are the gamers.  While yes, there are rip off girls, but there are a great many individuals out there who have figured out this is a big industry and they try to game us.

Not necessarily individuals from within the hobby either.

I have been surprised at how many scams...  in both directions...
When I started the hobby, I promised myself I'd not do anything stupid...  but I've found myself constantly learning & upgrading my care.
I have found a much deeper understanding of the hormonal responses to great sex...  and the tendancy to "fall for" the partner.  I can even find examples in my own past.  Moving forward, I am better prepared to evaluate what is real.
