Business cards: Good idea? or Bad?regular_smile

So, I have a card maker that's been collecting dust for sometime, and I've recently been thinking about creating a simple business card to generate more local traffic on my website.

It wouldn't contain any of my personal information, nor even mention escorting.

Just an elegant font on the front that says Victoria Love and maybe a little heart, and on the back, my URL.

I think the least they would do is strike a slight curiousity strong enough to see who Victoria Love is lol.

I'd then just have to decide on how and where to leave them. Maybe I could covertly leave just 1 or 2 here or there, in more discreet locations where they might have a chance at being picked up by the right person.

I welcome any opinions on this idea.

it really depends on your business model if you think you need them.

I have a pro designed site, pro pics and my own domain so it fits right in with my marketing and business model.

As a fellow provider, I would think twice about it.  First, "leaving cards somewhere" creates a paper trailof evidence and is more likely to get in the hands of more members of LE than through the normal course of business.  Your cards would more likely fall into the hands of certain clientele that are in no way of benefit to your career as a provider and possibly might subject you to more risk.

Second, I would not want to risk "outing" my clients and leading their wives or SO directly to me because my client carelessly left a card in their wallets or pockets.  You are a beautiful, young lady.  Just be patient and utilize avenues of provider advertising that will not put you at unnecessary risk and exposure.

Just my 3 pennies!!

hire me if you need a hand to spread them out.
I'm kidding.

Interesting idea. But, then again you may attract unwanted attention to you or your clients.

I am thinking you already know about attracting attention to yourself.

Your possible/ current clients may have a senior moment and leave it someplace that it can be found by the other half.

I once had a provider give me her business card after a session with her. I didn't really need it, since I had her tele# programmed in my phone.

M & G's.  I have had a few ladies give them to me at a M & G.  The cards I have seen are very generic--something like "You deserve the best professional services" or even "floral arrangements for any ocassion."

Not sure I would put a URL (would give away the secret); maybe an e-mail address.

I think leaving them out somewhere wouldn't be a good idea but when you attend M&G's you can pass them out there. I noticed that when I went to the Mixer in NY there was alot of ladies that had them. I never really notice business cards be passed out in Ga. So it's nice to have them just in case. I know I will!
