I have sent E-gift cards to some ladies who I have seen multiple times, just to show my appreciation for their time--- good idea or not??    Are  providers concerned about the traceability of goods sent to their home address, real name and so-on?      

Would it be less of a concern if the E-gift card was from--- Victoria Secrets, Fredericks of Hollywood or more of a concern from----  Macys, Sephora, or Borders?  

I did not hear any complaints.  But we are friends enough to have real names.
I don't know if e-gift cards are traceable like that.   I guess that would be a possibility.  I guess if she was concerned, she'd not use it or use it in person.  Ladies?  Your take?
