A couple of reasons...there may well be more but these two come immediately to mind...

First of all a web cam attracts far too many lookie lews and not enough serious spenders.  Just as with regular cam girls you would have a ton of guys asking you to flash them, strip for them and show them your toys as they whack-off and never actually book an appointment.

Also, cam shows are recorded and posted on tube sites pretty regularly. A woman advertising as an escort is not going to want the sort of risk involved with her likeness and name being all over the internet.  If it's a clean enough video some morons would be posting it on you tube in no time

I am curious why escorts don't use web cam as an induction of the clent and the provider. It seems like perhap meeting on web cam provide some assitance to a first date.

both on international sites, who request a web cam meeting as part of their screening. I think their point is to see what I look like and whether they can stomach it, not sell themselves to me.

I passed so I do not really know, but it makes some sense at the high end. I would think that at the mid to low end it just is too much trouble.
