not only does it break the ice, sometimes it's necessary for either/both party (if you know what i mean)

and it works both as foreplay and afterplay. it's rather common (at least more common than you'd think)

I think it's great!  Several times I've showered and bathed with my girl and it was always fun!  There's just something deeply erotic about scrubbing and lathering a lovely girl... and it sets a casual and comfortable stage for the fun to come.

I hate expecting it tho, since a couple times I was hoping for a mutual shower since the reviews seemed to say she offered it to most of her clients.  

I'm not saying this is some sort of deal-breaker for a good time;  the only time it comes up is if I see reviews that indicate a shower together is the norm for that particular lady.  If then a mutual shower is refused, I'm left wondering if I did something wrong, is all.  That's the sort of thing that gets into your head and makes you not wanna repeat since maybe, just maybe, the chemistry just wasn't there for her even if she didn't show it in other ways.  

OK, I get out of my own shower, fresh and clean with wet hair. I then spend the next hour applying multiple expensive hair products, blow drying a certain way, and finally applying the final hair product(s) to achieve the "natural" look. My hair looks thick, shiny and just a bit touseled, just like the hair commercials. Perfect!

And then I'm supposed to get in the shower again with the client, GETTING THE HAIR WET? I don't think so. LOL. (And those hair scrunchies don't help that much.)

So, please don't be offended if the provider politely declines to shower with you--it's not you, it's the hair thing.
