I made contact with a local lady, she said she would review the information and get back to me.  How long should I wait before contacting her again?  I do not want to seem desperate but would like to know if we are going to be able to schedule a date.

Did you ask her about a specific day and time?  If so, she should be getting back to you to confirm. If she hasn't it's possible that she has decided not to see you.  No harm in a follow-up email or call but I would only do it once.  If you still don't hear back it's time to move on.

To extend what BostonGuy said...  I would think 3-5 days would be adequate for her to screen you & get around to getting back to you... and for her dance card to open up.
I would contact her again with a specific date & time, gently remind her of your previous contact & try to agree on a schedule.
If she does not reply, move on...  at least for now...  You can circle back later with more experience & start fresh.

contacted her.  She may be screening you, and that can sometimes take some time.  I would say if yoiu have not heard from her in 72 hrs, move on.  There are plenty more out there.

i always use preferred 411 request appointments..they all reply usually in one day..if they dont reply your request in a sufficient amount of time you have the right to notify p411 support of that..p411 runs a tight ship..they look out for providers and clients alike..no provider out there wants to be thrown off of p411..it is a good source of clients..p411 has rules..follow them..you are in business..

I think many ladies have the auto response on their websites as well.

Sometimes even though you get that email back the lady hasn't seen your first email. Follow up with another email asking if she got your first email. Send it directly to her email addy not thru her Contact Me on her website. I've missed a few inital emails thru the auto response before.

If you don't hear back, time to go shopping!
