What you really need to do is do a lot of study in a hurry.  I suggest the Newbie Manual/Self Help Manual that is linked on this Board.

But as far as TER is concerned, you need to become a VIP member and then get PM (private mail) privliges.  You can then have the TER member contact you by the PM thus proving their identity.  You can also check out their white listings (if they have any), and even contact the providers on the white list to get OKs from them about the guy.

You can also read his reviews to find out what he likes, expects, etc.

But many gals also want personal information on new clients, or they want them to be members of a screening serive like P411 or RS2000, etc.

If you read older posts or do some research on this board you'll find a lot of discussion about this whole topic.

It will be time well spent.

I am totally new to ter.  I have a client requesting to see me & has given me his ter id to screen him.  I dont know what to do???

Mr. Fisher has been around and knows what he is talking about.

The key here is that if you are NOT well versed in how TER works, you are not going to be able to use it to it's best potential to screen a client.

The best advice Mr. F just gave you is to pay the fee to become a VIP member, then look up this fellow's other reviews and contact a couple of the providers to see if they consider him a good client.

If you're not willing to do at least that, I suggest you request of this fellow some other screening info such as work info, or direct provider reference(s).

which allows you to use the PM system.  So you could get PM from him through TER (he must also have VIP to PM).  Without exchanging private messages, no way to establish he's the client he says.
You can read any reviews he's written.  You can see if any gals have White Listed him (it's optional so lack of WL doesn't prove anything).  You could PM other gals he's seen recently.  
This is a useful addition to your screening, but does not replace it.

Most knowledgeable providers in the science of screening clients are not going to share their screening secrets in an open forum like this.  I suggest you PM some of the more experienced providers near you and see if they will give you some pointers in private.  There many things you can do to screen potential clients.  In addition, there are 3 major client verification sites, Date-Check, Preferred411, and RoomService2000, which many providers use to verify a potential client.  The only thing on TER that can help with screening is the Whitelist referrals that a male member may have, but for more info about the client, you would need to contact some of his referring providers.

You will find a list of his reviews, and you can find his whitelists, too.  I would contact other providers about him and see if they say positive things.
