I did not have to do what you are speaking of to have my reviews linked to my user name.
I sent a message and to ter admin and that was it I never sent any kind of photos.
I would suggest going to the link of this site click on contact us and asked to have your reviews linked.
As others have mentioned you do need the ter seal on the front page of your website.

I have tried so many times to connect my user name (diane_love) with my TER ID, 189992. After sending my face shot with my user name and TER ID number TWO separate times, I was informed that I need a face shot in an ad, but not on one of their competitors' sites, to be confirmed and mix my ID with my user name.

I told them that I DO NOT SHOW MY FACE SHOT due to privacy and past violent stalkers.

How is this good for business?
Is there nothing else I can do?
I have three published reviews - those gents would vouch for me!
I have another gent who has been trying to submit a review for months.

What's up with that?

heard of this process you speak of, and no one I know has had to do any of that just to get a review profile. The ONLY time I have heard of them asking for comparison photos is if there is speculation about a review being malicious. Say a guy writes a gal is 20 lbs. heavier than her photos and she says he is full of crap....TER may have the girl hold a sign with the date saying "Reviewed at TER" to prove she is the one in the photos, and that they are accurate before pulling the review.

There is more to the story here....

But I am thinking that if you have followed normal channels, and you are going through this much drama...It is because you have zero web presence.

You have a bad url link on your profile. You don't need a Web site, but you do need an active ad link. Your going to need another review with a good ad. Can you get on datecheck or P411? Those stay up.

You have no active link on your profile, so this is why your client can not submit a review. You need a website or an ad on a non competitive site or a profile on p411, date-check etc. (as sethric said ) If you are on one of those sites, ir have an active ad then submit a problem report to add that link to your profile. If you aren't on one of those sites, try getting on one. Or place an ad somewhere (which is not a TER competitor) even backpage if you have to, and submit that to your profile. (the ad should have the same phone number or email address that is currently on your profile, for easy verification) Once your profile is updated, then you should try again to link it to your username. You should also be signed up here with the same email address that is on your profile and use that address to contact TER to do the link. I have never heard of them asking for any pictures. Linking should be easy peasy. But if you are using different E address to contact them AND you have no current web link, they can't verify that you are you.

I am thinking they might have questions to her identity and if she is really the person the reviews belong to. As I said, we are missing some of this story because no one I know has ever had to do this.

The TER link on your website is required if you are going to link your website to ad posts on the boards, It has nothing to do with linking your username to your review profile. You don't even need a website to do that.

The picture request is definitely odd, but there is obviously something we don't know here. It has to have something to do with proving she is who she says she is. For some reason TER is questioning her identity.

... that don't add up to what you are saying.

What do you mean by "mix my ID with my user name."?? That comment doesn't make sense to me.

Did you read CAREFULLY the how the TER profile is setup? Your profile name is: Diane Love, that is what is showing up under ID number: 189992

If the first reviewer identified you as Diane Love, that's the way it's going to be unless you ask TER to change the name to whatever you want. I don't know if TER will do it or not. You could ask TER to change it to Diane Love / diane_love . TER may go along with that idea of having both names.

Frankly... I don't see what the big deal is, though.

Still does not make sense as to why they would ask for a face shot. When I used to post here my posting name was "xoxolondon" and all I did was ask them to change it to London Rayne, because that is the name on my review profile. I had 7 pages of reviews when I asked for that change though, and it was done in less than an hour.

I might be wrong but I don't think that is what she is asking. I think she is simply trying to link her profile to her username. Changing a username is usually as simple as asking them to change your username. Many have done it. (as you have, and it really has no bearing on your pages of reviews. You could have done that with no reviews)  As far as providers having different usernames than their review profile name, that is very common also as you know. (quick examples: dddbabe and our favorite newbie, BadCollegeGirl)

Linking should also be as easy as a quick request, and I have never heard of them asking for pictures. But I think sethric and I are correct. See our posts above. It's about proving who you are. Otherwise, anyone could sign up for a new username and claim to be a certain provider (providing that provider is not already linked to a username). Diane has no current weblinks on her profile, and I am guessing that she probably used a different email address when she signed up as a member.
