Seeing some of the OC and LA reviews about Canadian Network providers got me interested in them, but one look at their site and the screening requirements were more than I felt comfortable with, not to mention that the main site requires a reference, which I don't have, being pretty much a newbie at the hobby.

Thought I should ask this of guys with more experience on this board; do you find that indies are less intrusive than agencies, or is it pretty much a wash?

And before you suggest stuff like RS2000, I've seen their application form and it asks for almost as much info, maybe more, than CN. I'll trade quality for someone not asking me for my life story any day. Seems cheaper, too.

Here's what some fellows do, which seems to work. Post a meesage on your local board explaining your situation.  You may find some ladies willing to work with you.

I read that you don't have any yet but if you can claw your way forward to get one or two ladies who will agree to vouch for you (it may take some searching and a few calls to find these), screeners will often accept those in lieu of your "life story".

I guess what I'm saying is press ahead on that search cause, otherwise, you'll just keep getting frustrated.

Quite honestly, I've never understood why so many escorts seem to need to hear other escorts' opinions about a potential client!  I have read and heard from several top-rated, well-reviewed ladies about how meaningless references are and how easily a client/cop can set up phony references.  My feeling is that the idea of asking someone I don't know, who most likely lives on the other side of the country what she thinks about my potential client is absolutely ridiculous!  This is in no way a bad reflection on any escort anywhere, but the idea of needing and accepting the opinion of someone I don't know who quite possibly has been set up for the sole purpose of providing a referenc... well, for heavens sakes!!

I never said I don't verify my clients, that's what you said!  I screen my clients carefully, and I am also fortunate to have a majority of regular clients. To compare my screening methods to having unprotected sex is an insult.  

Sometimes I wonder if it's even worth posting on these boards at all when I get such a ridiculous response from someone who hasn't bothered to read what I actually said!
