A lot of providers require references. Being a newbie, i don't. What should I do about this?
the best I can say (and I am not a hobbyist so Im not sure if Im correct) you might want to try an agency. From my understanding they ask for some personal info to verufy that you are who you say you are. You may also want to join date-check its a provider referral service.
Going to an Agency is NOT the answer, beacuse it won't help you in the long run .... Find a provider you like ... e mail her, let her get to know you, call her, and then let her call you at work on a somewhat set day and time so you'll be there ... once she feels at ease and that your not LE ... it will be smooth sailing .... also not all providers require references ....hobby safe hobby well hobby all you can be
I don't understand this BS? I have never been asked for references. Maybe once I had to show an id or something, but nothing on the level of job interview. Why should I tell a provider anything other then the basics? They aren't going to tell me their real name or show me a phone bill. If they aren't on TER, the could be a cop, too. In fact, it's in the realm of possibilties that a "reviewed" girl could be a sting operation with a lot of bogus aliases and reviews. I woudn't got a to a provider whos asks for a lot of personal info. They don't need it.
Believe me, move on. I have been a several providers in the last year and I just show up or they come over without a references production.
