I don't get it

They confirmed and linked my review to my user profile and I still can't see my own review...they stopped answering my mail when I asked why i can't read my review...they didn't approve my last post asking why I can't read my review.  Anyone got any ideas?  Am I missing something?
I'm pretty excited about getting involved with TER after finally deciding to build up an internet presence after being on the downlow for a while...now my patience keeps being challenged with the circularness of getting set up here...waiting for the reviews to get posted, waiting to be able to read them...I totally want to support and sign up for VIP I just can't do it yet.

...I'd stick with asking them through e-mail or "Contact Us" instead of posting about it. Maybe ask a provider friend about how it was when she went through the process.

I know when I first paid for VIP it took a while for it to take effect. Since then it has been immediate. I know your aren't paying for it but the idea is the same. Maybe it is something that takes a while for it to all come together. Go back and check it later and see if you can read your review.

Keep us posted on how things go for you. It's nice to get a follow up post on the questions asked here.

P.S. ...as for your post being approved asking about what's up. Maybe your moderated and it just hasn't been posted yet but will eventually.

It is working now, I guess there was just lag time and I was impatient...I'm just a lil excited to get to know the community here and get involved and not being able to read my own review was driving me bonkers since I knew it was there and other people were reading it, ha ha...life always lessons me on patience.
The only reason I posted is because I couldn't get a response through contact, but it's all good now, thanks ;)

Keep sending problem reports to TER adminitration until they get it straightend out.

Are your user name and profile page names the same?

If different, that might be the problem.

It's the same and it's all good...and it is a little while later they haven't approved my first response to this thread...not used to being involved in such a well moderated discussion group...good, but gets a taking used to...patience for me is gonna be the key...thanks for your input guys.

Is the key sometimes as you have found out:)

As for Your board posts being moderated, post a little more (on your regional board, here, or any of the general boards, then you can use the "contact us" button and ask to be unmoderated. It is not automatic. You have to ask. In fact you could ask now. The worst they will say is to post more and ask again. It can't hurt. All new members are moderated. Once you get unmoderated your posts go up instantly. You will only get moderated again if you break the posting rules.

Welcome, congrats on your review, and good luck.

Oh thanks, I didn't realize...I'm a little sad, I fall into the "other" category as far as regions go, being in Alaska...we don't have an enormous hobby or provider population to warrant our own section. ha.
Thanks for the warm welcome.  I'll spend some time proving myself worthy, no worries.

My home board is "other cities." it is a pretty dead board, but occasionally there's some good stuff. We actually had a rare photo thread the other day (the first one in a few months). There are questions that pop up for Alaska there occasionally. Scoed and I tried to breathe some life into that board a few months back and had moderate success, but it kind of died off again. But feel free to post there, and start a photo thread once in a while. You can post your ad on the "other cities" ad board. You can join discussions on any board. Check out the General Board if you have a thick skin. It can get rough there sometimes. The P&R board requires an even thicker skin. For a more civilized friendly board, check out the "over 60" board. Something for everyone here. See you on "other cities" :)

I saw that legs thread and never got around to adding mine...I'll be helping to breath some life into the other cities board though...I like to spruce things up, keep things tidy, and in general improve the ambience of anywhere I happen to be ;)...I posted an ad on the regional board while I was impatiently waiting for my review...I've popped into General, mostly to lurk, but occasionally to be silly...I'll try to lighten the atmosphere where ever I happen to go.
Cheers~
