Am i failing my screening process because of my change of phone numbers?

I'm a P411 verified newb without any references yet.

I provide all correct information yet I seem to get rejected by the screening ladies.

I'm trying out Google voice on my phone and getting rid of my second hobby phone.

Is it possible that I'm failing the screening process because I've changed my phone number and started using Google voice?

Do providers dislike it when the clients are using Google voice instead of a real number?

Even though I love Google Voice, I HATE when clients use it! If I know they are using it, I generally wont see them. While you may not have any ill intentions, there are too many who do. GV is a way for those guys to get around verification.

I'm a single guy so I don't have any prying eyes on my phone records.

I'm just worried that a provider might get in trouble with LE and get my phone number handed over with her phone.

Am I just being too paranoid here?

Now, if you have a history of texts with appointments AND price; that may be of concern. They may now have written evidence then of "solicitation" implicating you and her. Just like an email string. That's why it is always best never to mention "price" in any communication. At best all they can establish that you had contact with a provider but no proof that you ever entered into any "agreement" to pay her.

It is okay for you, but not for clients??  Really?  Come on Caitlyn, we are in this together.  Safety and security is a two-way street.  I use google voice, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with trying to skirt verification.  It is simply a different phone service!  It is convenient in that it allows me to have more than one number ring to the same mobile phone.  And I DO use a different number for contacting providers, than I do for my business and other personal use, for a myriad of reasons.  Google voice or pre-paid "burn" phone, it's really no different.  I am verified on P411, and have never had any issue getting verified by any provider.  There are plenty of ways to verify even without a phone number at all.  Even if you subscribe to a reverse phone lookup service, MANY cell numbers will not return results.  So, in my opinion it is not a reliable verification method by itself anyway.

To the OP:  It is hard to say why you are, as you say "failing the screening process", because we don't know what the provider has asked your or what info you have given.  I really doubt that it has anything to do with google voice specifically.  However, if you used your old number at one point and now use a different number, the mis-match may be causing issues.  Kind of like listing one email address and responding from a different one.

I use a hobby phone...  when I had to change Hobby Phones, I gave the next several gals my old & new numbers.

if you change your number they have no way to say you are the guy who saw the girl, so if you do change it make the agency aware or the last provider you saw.
