E-mailed her, got verified and she asks for a $100 deposit.   Uh...so how do I handle that.  Not gonna use the personal CC.

Any thoughts?

Can I get a Visa gift card and use that for the deposit?

I really don't like deposits...  unless she is booking a room just for my visit or making travel arrangements like plane tickets for a get away...  
Once she has the money, plans can change & you're out.  Is she a well reviewed TER provider?  Read her reviews.  PM a previous reviewer.

and there is no way I'm doing anything that leaves a trail back to me in any way shape or form.

I *understand* the probs touring ladies go through with expenses vis cancellations.

It goes with the territory. A cost of doing business.

Attempting to transfer that cost to me ain't gonna happen.

Find another biz plan to deal with it.

This is a *luxury* for me. Not a requirement.

And my business is a privelege as much as I appreciate a provider who gives good service and consider doing biz to be a privelege with her as well.

If she takes deposits she should know how to accept them.
You may want to ask if she has a Greendot or similar pre-paid credit card where you can buy a refill pack with cash never having to give your name or other information, and just send her the number on that so she gets her deposit and you keep your anonymity and no paper trail.


As for the guys that don't like deposits, it is understandable, and yes, the business is best when it is cash...but underhanded BS has forced many ladies into requiring deposits.

I have known more than a few ladies that plan a trip based on pre-booking and interest only to have most of the appointments cancel.  If she pays for airfare, a hotel room, expenses of going out of town, incidental travel expenses (cabs and such) and food while traveling, she can lose hundreds and hundreds of dollars if the appointments don't show.

There have been incidences of guys in an area getting together pre-booking most of a lady's time, and then all canceling or threatening to to force discounts.

There have been incidences of local women in an area getting their white knights to book with traveling ladies to turn around and cancel or flake just out of some fucked up twisted spite.

The thing is the ladies aren't passing a cost on to you...if her rate is $400/hr and you book an hour, and she asks for a $100 deposit, you don't owe her $100 more, that money just held your spot and was insurance that you were serious in booking the date, at the time of the appointment you just owe her $300...to equal her rate of $400, that isn't passing along a cost.

Now if her rate was $400/hr but she got flaked on or had so many cancellations she was losing money on the trip so she increased her rates to $800/hr that would be passing a cost along to the client.

Sad that guys pre-book to try and force deals or to white knight, or on a maybe, so that many ladies just break even or lose money touring.

Hell, I am about ready to start asking for 50% down on web design work because so many people will let me get finished with the design and then never get back to me, or let me work through most of the design and then never give me the content, let me get it finished but never give me server information so it can go live...and I never get paid for the work I have done as they think if the never get the site then they owe me nothing.

If you have to put out work or money to clients only to have them flake on you, the first few times you probably let it slide, but when it happens regularly you try and do what you can to insure you don't lose that time working or that money.  Making  someone pay a deposit is just a way to insure that once you start working or spending your money they aren't going to just change their minds and leave you fucked in a very bad way.

Green Dot leaves absolutely no trail as it is 100% anonymous. You buy a card at the drug store and send the lady the pin number on it. Simple, easy, no trail or personal information needed on either side of the equation.

As for whether or not you like deposits, that's up to you. I have no dog in the fight.

Ask the lady what she prefers.

The only benefit to a deposit is that one way or another, you're sure to get screwed.

If you want to piss away Ben Franklins, let me know, I'll take them. Give her your day/time you wish to see her and say you hope to see her then. If she cancels her trip, there are other ladies that will make you forget about her.

I know some traveling girls do it and I understand why they do it but there is no lady I want to see badly enough to play along.  Too many things can happen on either side to cause a cancellation.

If I live to be a hundred and hit the lottery I will never run out of gorgeous women to see who are willing to book an appointment with me without a deposit..

The only time a deposit is ever reasonable would be in special circumstances such as booking an extended date (we are talking overnight or longer, not just 3-4 hours), or if there is some sort of arrangement that requires a significant investment of time/money on the part of the provider. For instance, if I had to drive 2 hours to a different city and book a hotel myself just to see one client, I might ask for a deposit to ensure I don't waste half a day plus the cost of the room for nothing.

Barring special circumstances like that (and in both cases I would never even agree to the date unless it is someone I've already met), there is simply no good reason to ask for a deposit upfront.

I can tell you that being stood up is a serious problem, and like all ladies, I get frustrated by it, but asking for a deposit is rather like cutting off one's nose to spite their face.

My suggestion on how to handle it is to politely let her know that you are not comfortable giving a deposit, and that you will regretfully have to decline. Then go find another knockout who doesn't require a deposit for a hobby that is supposed to be pay as you go.

After all, they are fronting money for airfare and hotels.  Many times they get burned by guy who say they will see them in the traveling city but then cancelll or NCNS.

I've never been burned on a deposit and I've paid about ten of them over the last six years.

I would not agree to a deposit however, to see a local gal.  That would make me suspicious.

Move on. Top flight providers only asked that you be discrete, respectful, well groomed and have money in the envelop counted right when you show up at their incall.

I did that deposit thing once and never heard from the lady again.

If the lady is touring your area she already made her arrangements and doesnt need your $$S up front.

Only safe a sure way to deal with a provider is to pay cash face to face.

Sounds normal for deposit.  What you can do is send a gift card or if she uses greendot visa card you can get a money pak.  You would have to send the gift card.  Or you can send deposit to paypal.

I can see why she'd ask for it. I have, just once. A new client wanted me to go on a long trip with him, and I asked for one just to be sure that he was serious.
For a regular session though? Hell no. You should deal with the donation at the start of the encounter anyways.

to a PO Box.  Never again.  There are other ladies I can see without the hassle.

If it was an overnight then I can understand; but, hopefully if you are doing an overnight then you have seen the lady before and have built some rapport.

I gave her a little more intel into me and she waived the deposit.
