Saw a younger provider and the feeling bad about it

I don't know if this is a newbie thing but I actually felt bad about a good session with a 18 yo provider. I usually see providers 24 and older providers but I decided to try a younger one. Session went great but in between the rounds we chatted and some of things she was talking about, it's more than obvious the age and maturity difference between a 18 yo provider and other providers I have seen. Afterwards I actually felt bad about seeing such a young provider as my oldest kid is almost her age. I felt so bad that I even give her a big tip.  Is this a newbie guilt or is it common in hobbying?

Even if she is of legal age and you did nothing wrong,  she probably made you feel like a "dirty old man".

The main reason I wont see young guys is because of that feeling like I am a pedophile or something because to me, anyone under the age of 25 just feels like a child.

BTW watch out for those 18 yo - if you dont have proof of her age and it turns out she is under 18, it could get you into all kinds of trouble.

Actually she didn't make me feel like a dirty old man. She is pretty mature for her age but the thought and feel of an 18 yo just kicked in the guilt. She said she will be 19 soon but that didn't help. I am better off staying with 24+. I am 40 with my oldest pretty close to being 18 so I guess it's the dad side of me that's making me feel guilty.

Its all based on the individual.  I have been with both ages and older. A few of the young ones will surprise you.  Some of the maturity you speak of can be just cold and callus towards the business. If you feel creepy do not do it.

But the fact remains that most 18 year olds are still in, or just out of, HIGH SCHOOL, for God's sake.  There is a HUGE increase responsibility between 18 and 22 - going to college, getting a job, moving out of mommy and daddy's house - HUGE CHANGES.  And those huge changes mean a HUGE difference in maturity between MOST 18 years and MOST 22 year olds.
