cut/copy & paste

Place arrow (cursor) at beginning of what you wish to copy.

"Left" click on mouse holding / keeping the button down.

Drag across text highlighting all that you wish to copy.

Release button at end of what you wish to copy.

Place cursor into "highlighted" field and "right" click mouse.

A menu will open: cut ...............copies & removes highlighted text from document for pasting elsewhere
                              copy.............merely copies highlighted text for pasting elsewhere
                              paste ...........for later pasting highlighted text to new document
                              select all......I have yet to play with this one.

Left click on menu choice.

Go to new document / window, position cursor, left click.

Right click to re-open above menu.

Left click on "paste". All the highlighted text you copied will now be pasted to your new document.
