You're focusing WAY too much on numbers, and missing the real story. Read the 'juicy details', especially for her more recent reviews. This will tell you far more than her ratings. Numbers alone don't say much. This isn't baseball.

Here is a question where your opinion as a hobbyist or provider would be greatly valued.

There is a provider that I have wanted to see for a while. I think she is absolutely beautiful. It's deja vu I am sure as she reminds me of a girl I dated some 15 years ago.  I am hesistant though because I have noticed a pattern in her ratings. She has around 35 ratings. On appearance all 35 ratings are between 5-6 and on performance all ratings are between 5-7. I know because I went through all the pages of her ratings to check. Ratings between 5-7 have always been tricky for me.  1- 4 I think means it is probably not going to go well and I think 8-10 means you will have a great time. I'm not really sure what to make of ratings between 5 and 7. Should that be more of a YMMV type of thing? With the provider in question, assuming her photos are accurate, and all the reviews state they are, I would rate her 9-10 on appearance easily. Easily. Everyone has their own definition of average and one man's 4 is another man's 7 and so forth so I guess the question is: how much stock to put into ratings and what is the take home message of a provider who constantly gets between 5 and 7's? With 35 ratings she is a well reviewed provider but all the hobbyists are experiencing the same thing. At the same time, I think a lot of people use the ratings that came before as a guide to how they themselves should rate the provider. So maybe they don't want to rock the boat by giving a lady an 8 when she's only been getting 5s by 10 other raters.

So as a hobbyist would you go for it?

I'd love to hear from Providers, too. I have read enough provider blogs at this point to know that a large majority of them hate the rating system to begin with and find it inaccurate, embarrasing, subjective and legitimately rude. What are your thoughts on receiving average ratings?

The most important and useful part is "The Juicy Details."  But I don't ignore the numbers, either.  If there were only a few 5s and 7s surrounded by lots of at least 7s and 8s, I'd go for it.  It also depends on who the reviewers are. But all 5s. and 7s?  Not for me, but YMMV.

You really need to read the profile.  Are the pictures accurate & current (in profile) & from several angles so you know what she looks like.  
A 7 is "attractive"...  I have no hesitation with seeing someone who is attractive.  If a reviewer gives less than an "attractive" to someone he's just been with, that makes me wonder...  supported by the reviews, of course.   I would want to read ALL the reviews on the most recent page as it should reflect her current activities.  
I can't help it, a good performance makes a woman more attractive in my eyes...   a average 5, nice time 6, hot time 7...    I'd really be looking for a 6-7 and up...  

If the pictures appeal to me & the cost modest, I'd go for it.   I think you are right, providers do tend to get a certain number score which is why reading reviews is essencial.

that you once dated.  And you are trying really, really hard to project on this gal.  As others have said, read some (or all) of the reviews.  Do you really think that 35 of 35 guys are in collusioni?  Not likely..and you should be prepared, if you go and see her, for a huge disappointment (she will probably not be the girl you are projecting her to be...and wishing her to be).

But if you go for it, enjoy your time and report back how things did go.

I agree w/the gentlemen here, read the "juicy details" to get a better idea.... the numbers, as stated, sometimes don't mean anything... I had a review recently where I was given a 6/6... but if you read the "juicy detail", you'd wonder why the score was so low(1st time reviewer a bit confused w/the way things are rated, lol). Make sure that, although it says her pics are accurate, that they are not over photo-shopped.. which could lead to someone saying the pics are really her, but the lower than average appearance score. And if the performance scores are consistently low(below a 6), you might want to re-consider, or wait awhile to see if they go up.
