I tried to phone a provider with about 15 good reviews on TER who refreshed her contact info and web ad a week ago. I get a message that "the call cannot be completed". I sent email with personal info to her asking to call me back. Now I wonder, is this safe? Is it ok to respond if she calls me or should I assume that there is a problem and stay away?

bir63, you've done all you can. I've found a lot of providers have to change phones because of stalker guys who "fall in love" with them and that might be the case. If she has 15 good reviews also look at the profiles of the guys that reviewed her. If they have a good many reviews you are pretty sure she is o.k.

With all that said it's never 100% safe as that is the risk when you hobby.

If it were I, I would see if she contacts me. If not then all you can do is move on and find another provider.

In this business it's always (yes ALWAYS) hit/miss.

Yes its safe to send an email. She has it posted either in an ad or a website as an alternative to a phone #  But if her cell phone is not working and she has not replied to your email, in a reasonable amount of time I would move on.  Remember, providers have a real life, who knows what could be going on in her life. In the future when you decide to see a provider you should always have a second or third choice ready to go. Don't fixate on just one escort. Certainly there must have been a second lady that caught your eye. Some guys have a "to do" list so if one provider is unavailable or unresponsive, they just keep moving down the list.  good lucj

One gal's number in particular got a "Call cannot be completed" message.  A TER buddy tried from his phone (different cell phone company) and he said a woman answered.

Let's keep this simple. Nothing complex happening here.

Remember who you're dealing with. This girl is not some great businesswoman, she's a whore. She doesn't remember (or doesn't have the money) to pay her cell phone bill, so it keeps getting cut off. That's the reason you can;t get through by phone.

She probably checks her email once a week at best, only when she can scarf some computer time from one of her friends.

Don't be fooled by a high-quality website. Always keep in mind that these girls are hustlers, and keep your wits about you.

It turns out it was my mistake. I had written down the phone wrong. She responded to my email and was very prompt. She was not available to meet this week, but now I feel safe contacting her in the near future.

I know I will sound like a White Knight here for sure, but if all ladies were as you portray I would certainly find a different hobby. LOL!

You know Pitt I feel ya. It's terrible when "whore mongers" or "johns" send vapid one line emails or don't read a ladies website or ask stupid questions...kind of gets irritating doesn't it?

You know, I am not offended by those names (whore-monger, john, walking wallet) - I know who I am and what I am. I honestly don't understand why any girl in this profession would be offended by the words whore, prostitute, or hooker. The definition of "courtesan" isn't any different than the definition of "whore" - a woman who engages in sex acts for money.

Hey Pitt. Well maybe I can put it this way. The word "whore" does not have a very likable or positive connotation. Much like any other word that is used to decribe various races. Now we all know that black Amercians can call themselves the "N" word but find it offensive if anyone else does. To me it's just a word but not a word often used as a term of endearment or even in pleasent conversation unless by that race. It's funney that even people on here won't come right out and say nigger but find it so easy to say whore...if whore is just a word why not use every other slang racial term if they are just words? Or is race off limits and sexist terms abound? (Giving my head a shake) I forgot where I was for a moment...of course crass things can be said about women...this is TER..the dudes board. What was I thinking.

It's good to know how you really feel about the women you see (if you see any). If it's truly how you feel that probably would come across in your attitude. Let me put one issue to rest. I indeed do see girls fairly regularly, but because I no longer live in a city with a TER presence, I don't see any girls from TER. And the girls I see don't have websites, so I can't review them. Most are from CL, BP, or CV. TER only "works" if you live in a decent sized city.

I disagree about the word "whore" versus "N-word". Saying "whore" is no different than saying "prostitute," at least according to every dictionary I have looked at recently. The definition of "whore" is not derogatory, and my usage of the term is not meant to denigrate.

Whereas all definitions of the "N-word" say that it is a derogatory reference to Black people. Anyone who uses it KNOWS they are being offensive.

And finally, I talk a lot of trash, both in real life and on message boards. But no matter what, I respect the girls I see - I'm not in love with them like the White Knights on TER, but I respect them and their work. And when I'm with a girl, she gets treated well by me.

Pitt, dictionary definitions aside, the word whore is almost always used as a derogatory term. Answer me this then...why do black people use the term between each other even though in the dictionary it is as you say a derogatory reference.

Also Pitt not only did you use the word, but made a few disparaging inferences regarding ASP business dealings. Come on Pitt, maybe you had a bad day but how are we, or should I say am I expected to take that post? I for one, take this very seriously and treat it as I do my other business. Should I tar all gents with the same brush because I get one or two assinine emails?
