How do you write a review of a provider who doesn't yet have a profile?

You will be setting up her profile so be as accurate and thorough as you can be. If it's her first review she doesn't have a TER ID yet so skip that line and start filling out all the other lines the same way you did when you wrote your first review. It's easier to copy and past the profile when she already has reviews but as her first you have to do it all manually. Again be as accurate as you can because you are setting up her profile and the only way to correct it is by filling problem reports if you get it wrong.

They sometimes hold back a first time reviewer's review of a new girl with no reviews, but not always. Also this guy already has a review so he is not a first time reviewer. There is no rule that a reviewer has to have a certain number of reviews before he can create a new profile.

...My communications with TER make it clear there is no such policy. It is often stated here that a first time reviewer May (cap for emphasis) have his review held especially if the provider is also a newbie (no reviews). Once the provider gets another review the reviewers submission will go forward. They do of course hold the right to reject reviews for various reasons. They reiterated this in there communication with me. But when I asked if there was a stated policy such as Julia described they said, "No"

Official statement from TER: "From time to time TER chooses not to post reviews from users with limited history for providers with no other reviews. Once the provider receives more reviews your review can be resubmitted for approval."

thanks for clarifying.  It is correct that admin will often hold back publishing reviews if the reviewer and/or provider are new.  I have found that this particular policy is often not strictly followed.  I guess it depends on which approver is reading the review.

...what I said. It is Not a hard and fast rule. As I stated before when I asked them if there was such a policy as Julia stated their reply was No.

This thread has just proven why a board for newbs needs the input from all experienced posters.

and Swim is correct about the policy not being applied uniformly. A quick perusal of reviews will find many "first time reviews by first time reviewers" but many (not all) are held back until there is a confirming review by an established reviewer.

When I started providing couple years ago I didn't have a profile or knew TER existed... My first hobbyist is the one who introduced me to TER, I did not have profile, he created one by doing a review & filling in the details as best as possible... Even the BP link on how he found me..... Still to this day I'm very very very grateful to him!    Just make sure fill out as much detail & provider info as possible...

Good luck...
