How to warn other about shade time-wasting

Hi, I'm somewhat new to this so I don't really know the appropriate action or non-action to take. So to verify this guy, I ask for 2 provider references and work info or an ID. (Since he has no TER or p411 account). He sends me the references. The first provider ID he gave me didn't come up and the second provider says she's considered him a time waster - sending emails but never booking anything.

Now, if he was just a timewaster then fine. But he gave me a provider reference of a woman who he's never met with before. That seems really shady. And I couldn't find the other reference. I think it would be worth warning other providers just in case he's LE or dangerous etc.

Post about this on your local board and tell providers they can PM you for details.  You might also post about it on the Providers Only board, if you're a participant and if such matters are discussed there.

There's also blacklisting, if you believe this behavior warrants it. Like you said, it's not just being a time waster, but giving a reference he's never seen before.  But first make sure the ID he gave you wasn't just a typo. That's possible.

which is sadly, the case many times.

Let that be a lesson to always check on the references.

As for him, dump him now.  He's bad news

And blacklisting? Really, an over reach if you ask me.

Yes, that would be my guess. I don't know if this is someone you need to warn others about, but go ahead if you want to.

I said IF she participates in the PO board.  Looks like she doesn't.  And I pointed out that blacklisting is an option IF SHE THINKS it's warranted. Neither you nor I know all the details so it's really a decision best left to her, don't you think?  But consider... a guy who is deceitful about references could be deceitful about other, more important things.  Not someone I'd want to invite into my bedroom, if I were a provider.

Hun, you will find he is not the only one. There are many, many time wasters...and no-shows and lots of guys who don't follow all the normal social graces.

It's the nature of the beast. (any beast actually as we are not the only service/industy that have to put up with this)

It may seem like your doing other girls a favour by informing them of your personal experiences with this guy or that, but if you did that, there could be pages and pages of lists of guys like that. Also, there are no guarantees that one guy does the same thing every time. It could depend on how he perceives the girl (based on: his personal life experiences, the girls look, body size anything really) Don't waste your time any more than it is already being wasted.

You have decided to demand certain protocol from potential clients/guests of yours, you set your rate with the time involved in the (lengthy) process included, and know everything will not always be the ideal situation. (this lesson has been a long hard learned one for me)

Good luck hun

this kind of potential, and that is what you achieved!! Pat yourself on the back, your system works...But don't give the whole situation any more time than that...you got work to do ;)

Have a good day :)
