I am a complete newbie, and wish to set up an appointment via an agency. Do I communicate my requests (e.g. I am a newbie, shy and inhibited and need a provider who can take charge; the type of session I want) to the booking agent at the agency, or the provider at the time of the appointment. Thankyou.

Some agency bookers will take the time to answer your questions and make a recommendation based on your wishes and experience, but others will just set you up with whomever is available at your requested time.

When I was a newbie, three short years ago, I got a feel from my regional board (Boston, and now New England as well) what the reputable agencies were, bought a VIP membership, and spend the better part of one weekend reading reviews of the ladies at those agencies whose pictures I liked.  Also, in the Boston area, a couple of the the better agencies have Yahoo groups that I joined to get an idea of when certain ladies were working.  I recommend you pick more than one provider from your chosen agency, so you will not be disappointed when you call, if your chosen provider is on vacation that day, or week.  My guess is that most agency bookers will not want to get into many specifics with a newbie client on the phone, so you need to educate youself as much as possible about the agency's ladies by reading their entire reviews (not just looking at the numbers).  That way, you will know as much about each provider as the booker.
