How To Get First References

I apologize if I'm the millionth person to ask this but I searched and couldn't find any threads.  I've been having trouble seeing the women I'm interested in from TER because they require references.  Although I've been around a while I don't have any.  The women I've seen don't want their information given out.  Another part of the problem is I can't give out my work number, although I could bring someone to my place of employment.  Due to the nature of my job calls are logged and suspicious numbers are scrutinized.  Do any providers offer any kind of screening appointment, just meet and talk, in a public place, bring a body guard, etc.  I'm not worried about the expense, it's the time that's a problem.  I also don't want to intentionally find less safe providers, that just doesn't make sense to me.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If you join one of those sites, you can look for newbie friendly providers that don't require references.

Thanks for the reply.  I did try that but they require my employment information as well.  I'm also not 100% excited about seeing a less safe provider.  I'm getting weaker on this point as this takes more and more of my time up though.  I should also probably mention that my employer receiving a call from datecheck or preferred411 would be even worse than a questionable call.

You can't give out your work number, but you can bring someone to your place of employment?  How does that help?  You would take a provider to where you work, introduce her to some co-workers who would verify that you work there????   That's what you are implying.  WOW!!!

Question, how would anyone know a number is suspicious?  Most providers, if they call your work place, will use some excuse, like confirming a doctor's appt, and ask for you.  When they get switched to your extension, most likely they will hang up before you even answer the phone.  Their mission is accomplished, she knows you work there.

Some providers, probably many, would meet you publicly for a drink, but will expect you to cough up their normal rate for the time.  Even if you can afford that, it seems a little extreme to me.

The verification sites, DateCheck, Preferred411, or RoomService2000 will require some personal info unless you are invited in by a provider who will vouch for you.  Either way, whether you give it to each provider or the verification site, you are gonna have to pony up some info.

You can avoid a lot of this by looking for providers that advertise they are newbie friendly.  P411, has this as part of the ladies' profiles.  Otherwise, you are just going to have to knuckle down and do some serious research.

1. The provider would visit the address of an established business and ask the receptionist for me by name.  This is untenably stronger authentication.  I realize this is strange but on-site visitors aren't logged, not my policies.

2. The number would be logged as suspicious because they would claim to be from a doctors office but not be from a doctors office.  The person receiving this call would most likely notice that from the caller ID.  If the caller just makes the receiver think they might be from a competitor trying to get information about our teams the call would be heavily scrutinized.

I really just can't risk giving my information to people I don't know, not everyone has the know how to handle sensitive information appropriately.  I work for a digital security company so anything digital, i.e. phone calls, are a no no, anything analog, like people, are fine.  Hopefully that explains it.

So I have NO problem coughing up the regularly hourly rate for a drink, no problem.  Is there a way to find a provider offering this service without calling and annoying all of them like some beggar?  To be clear, I am 100% fine with just getting a drink, that's it, she can bring a big intimidating friend, whatever.

1.  You would prob have to pay her for visiting someplace like you would if you met her for a drink.
2.  Understand about the caller ID, didn't think about that.  She would need a business phone from somewhere that would show up on caller ID as non-threatening to your business.

Also understand your reluctance to give out information because of job.  That sort of eliminates joining a verification site on your own.  Maybe you could ask one of the ladies you have already seen to help you get on one of them?

As far as a solution to finding a provider that will meet you for a drink, this is your only option I can see, other than making yourself a pest of the ladies.  Post on the ISO board about your situation with minimum details of course.  Explain you would have no problem paying her for her time, don't mention full rate as she might cut you some slack on the rate, just say you are willing to pay for her time.  Be sure to indicate where you are, too many ISO posts give no location, thus no help.  If your regional board is a slow one, you might get away with posting there, but it may get moved to the ISO board, which is why you need to give your location.

Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Sorry as a provider I would be running away from this.

I had a good friend get busted last year because she met a guy who told her he couldn't be verified because his work was so secure, every phone call was scrutinized, yada yada....  He claimed to work for a government agency that had alot of dealings with NASA (she lived fairly close to a NASA base).

Anyway, a guy saying he can't be verified and is looking for a way around it, is to be avoided.  We should not be on here telling you or anyone else a way to get around a lady's screening.  Even if you are legit and in this predicament, you don't know who's reading these boards and we don't want to give the wrong person information on how to get around our safety measures.

Thank you for saying what I was thinking.

Figure out a way to be verified for the ladies safety.

I hope you didn't think I was trying to help get around screening.  My intention was to help him get verified by alternate means.  However, I can totally understand what you are saying.  Since I don't know his whole story, I was trying to point out ways he could get verified.

Thanks for your comment.

I know you weren't.  I was just thinking maybe others might jump in and give him advice as well.

There are other ways to screen, but I don't think its a good idea to suggest how to get around the screening process.

My Inner Biatch is screaming NO to this selfish nonsense!

Thanks for taking the time to respond ladies, appreciated.  Sorry if I offended anyone, just an honest question.

Just a thought!!!!
Try getting "interested" in providers that advertise that they're "Newbie Friendly"

God bless and good-on the providers that have enough high end business to ignore the influx of reference-less newbies; but there are a-LOT of savvy providers who can find alternatives to your "work phone" worries etc.

YOUR contribution may be too simply defer the ONE or FEW providers that command multiple references.

I have no experience with P411 but many threads here on the Newbie board have given the advice of joining P411 and using them as a reference and looking there for the P411 providers that are newbie friendly.
From what I understand from these posts P411 has a phone number so you can call them and consider alternate ways to be verified by them and take into account your inability to give out your business phone number. I'm sure if you do a search  here you could find a thread that would have info on how to find that number if it isn't readily available on their site.

I recommend trying that before trying anything else.

is readily available on their site. Not on the home page but only two clicks away. From the home page you click on "access client information" then "sign up for a new account." That page has the contact number and also a live chat feature.

When did finding an available escort become so difficult?  I'm not giving my employment information to anyone.

Any ladies in socal want to grab a drink?  I'm buying.
