How the reference system works

There were a couple of questions last week by FordSeagull and Nikh, about how references work, that went unanswered.  Since they about to drop to the next page, I thought I offer some help in a new topic.

References are one method SP's use to protect themselves from legal and physical threats.  If she can contact another lady who can say yes, this guy didn't harm me or arrest me, her confidence in you being safe increases.

If she asks for references, give her the name, phone number and/email address of a lady, or ladies, you've seen.  Just make sure she knows the name you used when you saw the lady you are using as a reference.  In the long run, it is much easier to use your real first name, it avoids a lot of complications.

A few pointers:
1)  If you had a good session, and hope to use the SP as a reference, ask her, either in person, or in a follow up email, if she would mind you using her as a reference.

2)  If it has been awhile since you saw your reference, send her an email to remind you who you are before you start giving out her name all over.  Don't go into the details of the session; remind her of when and where you saw her, and any memorable discussion you might have had.  Remembering details is important.  I once used a lady as a reference who didn't remember me.  However, since I could confirm the location of her incall, I got the A-OK.

3)  If you are making a hobby trip to another market, or are wanting to get move up in class in the SP's you see, pay a visit to the lady you will be using as a reference.  This make you fresher in her memory.  And if she does give you the all clear, send her an email, thanking her for her help.

4)  Many top class agencies require, and provide, references.  However, not all agencies are top class, particularly those that advertise in the newspaper or yellow pages, and have a reputation of not giving references.

Good luck to all, and hope this helps,
