Ok, I'm a newbie. I've never actually met up with anybody yet. I'm a VIP here and I signed on with preferred. About how long after I send emails to providers should it take to set up an appointment?

the other 1%, I take credit for!  LOL

But seriously, yes, move on, but don't send a bunch of flame emails "Why haven't I heard from you" and similar.  There are a lot of reasons why it might take more than 2,3 or more days to get a reply...

And I'll share with you... once it was 10 days for a reply, but what happened after that was...

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Some providers might get back to you within 24-48 hours, others may not. It really all depends on how busy a provider is with life or what type of professional communication skills she has. Some providers’ strong points are not their admin skills (e.g. returning emails promptly, etc.). Other times a provider might be busy with her other job, kids, an appointment, etc.

If she does not get back to you in the time you decide works for you, move on. The worst thing you could do is email her inquiring why she has not responded promptly enough. I typically delete emails like that. I even blocked a gent's email after he kept harassing me about not returning his email within 12 hours of its receipt. No thank you. My clients are gentlemen not "bug-a-boos".;)

Good luck!

when you'e asked a  lady for a specific date and time, just because you did not hear back in two or three days.

someone new or relatively so is more difficult to screen. Additionally, noobs are not going to be the highest priority in the lady's screening queue. Just a fact of life.

When filling out the contact form on a lady's site or sending her an email. it is appropriate to ask for a specific date and time, and an alternative or two.

Once I have asked for a  date with a lady I am not going to set something else up for that time frame unless I have not heard back from her in a week.

As I am experienced and easy to screen I usually state that I will assume that  we are not going to meet on the requested day and time if I have not heard back in a week from the date of my email.....
