I filled out a contact form completely on a providers (MANY great reviews) site. I suggested a date and time, I even gave my DateCheck info. I noticed that she did actually view my DateCheck profile, but no contact.
Generally I assume that the provider would contact you if they can, or want to meet.
Is it okay to try to contact her again? At the time I had no references, I do now. Or should I assume no contact = no go.
I just don't want to cross a line, or appear pushy.
I filled out a form with a reputable agency two weeks ago and never heard back.
I finally called them last Friday [the appointment is still upcoming so I didn't miss it] to ask why and she suggested that I call in the future since they don't always receive their forms - whatever that means. Why have a form if no one's checking? Is it a way to test the persistence of clients or something?
If the desired appointment time is imminent and the provider has listed a contact phone number, why not call? Remember, you're not asking a civvie for a date. If you explain about the form and she wants your business, she'll understand.
Sometimes you may have to wait 48-72 hours if you sent the form on a Friday afternoon just before a weekend or holiday. The ladies have lives outside the profession too.
