Question for the ladies out there.  What is a normal range for how much notice to give before a booking?  Is same day a bit weird?

The chances of getting your desired date and time as most of us know our schedules in advance (unless emergencies or other situations happen of course). Also, this allow us plenty of time to check references and screen, keep in mind that we sometimes we don't get replies right away from other ladies so that can delay the process..

Thanks Paloma.  Completely understand re screening time. Mostly want to make sure I don't weird people out by doing the wrong thing.

10 minutes, give enough time for a quick shower.   On the serious side, for me, it depends on the situation.  Here in my home state, i prefer to give a 3 day lead, but most of the time I don't have the luxury to do so.  Most of my in state trips I only have a 1 day notice, so I end up finding making appointments for the next day.  Sometimes I might find out in the morning I am going to Miami or Ft laud that day, so might call Ladies I already know and ask if they can accommodate me (not my favorite).  If taking a vacation alone, I try to schedule everything, flight, meals, playtime, gaming time one to two weeks ahead, always leaving free time.

Best bet is to read the lady's ad or website and see what she says on it.

Way before the internet, gals would put their phone numbers on personal ad sites in the various weekly entertainment magazines in most major cities.  You'd have to call 20 numbers before one responded and invariably, the question she would ask is:  How soon can you get over here?

You'd be told to go to a phone booth she could see from her window and call again.  If you got there before anyone else she would give you the address and apartment number and you'd go up.  Half the time the number would be busy, she wouldn't answer, or she'd answer and say:  Call back in 15 minutes (Which meant she was with another guy and taking the calls while someone else was banging her.)

Oh, how I love to wax nostalgic.

That's cool what you do, but I would recommend keeping a low profile.  Having an alias thoracicsurgeon is like having "MD" on your license plate.  I would guess LE and the media love to go after high profile people.    Consider changing your alias to something more anonymous.  Happy hobbying.
