Most of the women I've seen online require references from other women online-if it is one's first time, how do you get references?

Ladies requre this as part of screening their clients. If you see a lady you would like to see, but have not seen any other providers, contact her, explain your situation, and she will let you know what other screening information she will accept. By the way, once you get a few visits under your belt, NEVER, NEVER use a lady for a reference without asking her first.

you *will* have to provide personal and employment related info to them so that they can be sure you are not LE or otherwise a danger to the providers.

Once they have screened you and issued you a username, they will delete your information.

Many many ladies accept date check and / or preferred411 for screening.

both sites are excellent screening tools. I personally do not rely solely on them if user has no prior references but would be a lot more accomodating in setting up date if either site was referred to in initial contact.
